Oh waw it seems there are no good rpg's out there these days. The ds is at least pulling it's weight but the wii seems to be failing....honestly I haven't seen a good rpg for the wii since I bought fragile dreams some time ago.... Ps3 and 360 don't count (but even if they did, there still is only a small number left)

wow... the gameplay looks sweet, and it's turn-based!... and the Tales of team helped out with this game as you would be able to tell from the dialouge scenes and the screen breaking when an enemy is encountered I heard this game is great overall and the best rpg on the wii right now... I'm buying... you might want to get that cough checked out good sir

@boredtodeath55 Basically all good RPG's have that type of animation before battle starts.

Be it breaking glass, being sucked into a void, the screen falling apart in pixel blocks, melting away,

tearing apart, exploding, imploding (and many, many more).

@demashi Indeed, the genre seems to be dying.

The future holds no RPG's if games continue to be shit, and people continue to brainlessly buy them.

Instead we will have imposters, parading as RPG's, and idiot enablers to that catastrophy will

never understand what they will have so eagerly destroyed in their utter lack of good taste, and respect

for legendary roots.

Those are the kind of people that claim Fallout 1 and 2 are ' shit' compared to 3.

this game looks great, and to make it better, this looks like the worst of the three rpgs coming to wii. (Arc rise, Xenoblade and Last Story) Since there's only like 2 good rpgs on the 360 and PS3 (Final Fantasy XIII sucked, too linear to be an rpg.) then it seems the Wii will end up the leading rpg console.

I can honestly only think of two good wii rpgs, but with the addition of these three the wii WILL have the best rpgs. Look up the trailers for Xenoblade and Last Story and tell me their "kids rpg style"

@epicdavid no actually i have the wii and i like playing kiddy games but i don't like rpg games thats fricking too childish like the final fantasy games... name some rpg games thats actually worth playing on the wii... none of the games u mentioned arnt even out yet!!!!!!! yah those games "looks" good but have you actually played it... I'm a harcore rpg fan i've played chrono cross all final fantasy games all ps1 rpg games and wii doesnt compare to those games I've played...

@crankyboiy Well Xenoblade is by the makers of Xenogears and Last Story is being worked on by nintendo, maker of rpgs like earthbound and mario rpg so... its basically the same as if square enix were making a game; you just know its gonna be good. I recommend you try fire emblem radiant dawn on wii, the graphics suck but the gameplay is unmatched. Also this game is out now, I am playing it as we speak and it is awesome.

@GAMBITxmen There is no comfirmation of a European release, but nothing is stopping you from going on ebay and getting the north american version for your wii.
