I just noticed something. When they were playing Wii Music, the song parts that weren't player-controlled were being done by Miis (which happened to be Mr. Iwata's and Ms. Dunaway's) and not the "Tutes" which were used in the final game. So I guess that those guys were added rather late in development.

I think Nintendo did a good job showing us Wii Music, a sequal to Wii sports (wii sports resort) Shawne White Snowbording, and animal crossing with wii speak. But I think that Nintendo showing us a Grand Theft Auto game called chinatown wars for the ds this winter is HUGE!

I think the game systems are just going through mild downtime. Sega will probably fix up their next game, nintendo will realize that Wiimusic was a terrible idea, and sony will probably pick better exclusive games and keep its price closer to the competition.

Worthwhile? Bullshit. No one can deny the greatness of the Mario Galaxy games, but they do NOT justify the console price. Metroid Prime 3 was dull, Smash Bros had crippled online (but was a great game), and that's ... it. Every third-party effort was lackluster and could have been achieved on the PS2.
