Can you do an advanced tutorial for the ones that are going for fast time? I already learned the basics with your beginner/intermediate tutorials :) How about even just one tutorial for fast solving with petrus method? Thanks!
Thank you for posting this. I can solve the cube very well, but am trying to learn this method for speed solving and you're videos have helped me a lot. Thanx man!
and what is it with rubik's tutorials on youtube that they never load even remotely fast? they take forever! a long time ago, i was trying to learn this crap on youtube. gave it up and found instructions elsewhere. now that i've heard of this petrus method and i'm curious, rubik's videos are taking half of forever to load. what the hell
after the green/orange piece is in place, all you have to do is a mirror image of that move to get the green/white piece!!!!! and way too much goddamn unnecessary talk!!!! holy incestual christ! just do the moves then do explanations later!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, you can learn so well; we need part 3... Please aswering, it's much important for me. Thank you, you're the only one who can give us the solution. (If there are any mistakes, I want to say I'm italian). Bye, see you soon
Agreed! he doesn't mention algorithm's just names... and sometimes it takes me a while to understand what hes trying to say. but its a great method and it's quick. the cross method is so boring because it's always the same, you hardly use your brain. block-building makes you think.
the reason he does not name or use algo's is because he the method doesn't really use them, it is more like recognizing patterns and being able to manipulate pieces
actualy uour wrong it does break up the block but when u do F it repairs it and you have your 2x2x3 make sure we are talking about the same spot at 6:16 what he should do is "Fi U2 F" not "Ui Ri F2 R U" with my way you shave off 2 moves saving valuable time
I could get the pieces placed correctly before for this method, but I actually got bored while reading about the actual way to do it. This is definitely faster than the thought processes I used to do the same thing. I'm looking forward to your explanations of the latter steps, if you end up doing more videos.

Look at the last Step (6:28)
Wouldn't it be faster if you just turn the fron anticlokwise, the top clockwise (two times) and then the front back (clockwise)?
It's just the same trick you used for the next to last step. ;)

Learning Petrus Method on video is a lot easier then learning in Petrus website. Petrus Method must be for talented cubers or something.

no need for ui ri he could just do Fi then rotate top layer into place then do F but still good job teaching
godlfire 4 years ago
actually you cant do that because it would ruin the 2x2x2 white orange side. you cant move the left, front, or bottom side without breaking the 2x2x2
