You are the worst drifter I have EVER seen. First of all you're using automatic which 'automatically' means that your drifting will suck, and you can't even get over 1,000 points on a corner. Your driving line sucks, you're supposed to enter the corner wide, not cut straight into it. And the proper way to drift iis to use the handbrake to get yourself into the drift. Next time, get someone who knows how to drift on this game.
@killinhomer Not always, Sometimes when i'm going into a corner at about 90 mph i will shift into second and turn. This spins the wheels and slows down the car taking it into a drift.

@RoxNugs4Life tracton is so the car wont spin and is a off. ABS is so the brakes dont lock, its your choice to have it on or off. stability i dont know but i think it bakes the car go straight or something but i thinnk that you should put that off. good luck reading my bad english and good luck drifting ^^
im still getting used to drifting in this game, but my biggest advice is: if your a novice, turn off all assist and use manual transmission. it helps you get used to the cars quicker while drifting and you have the choice of maintaining speed while drifting. it works for me. i've gotten alot better and i just got this game 2 weeks ago.
@grantal WRX's are usually AWD which usually hinders your ability to drift. i suggest changing the drivetrain to RWD , this will help you lose grip and make it easier to maintain a drift :)

@2ookie100 Awd takes way less skill though, it's more of a beginner's intro / stunt type of drifting, not competition style drifting. If Awd was better, and harder to use, then FMDA rules would say Awd, not Rwd. Feel free to say Twss as many times as you want to this part ^
I see a lot of bad advice being given in these videos...
- do NOT use an AWD car. RWD only.
- definitely have traction control off and use a manual gearbox. downshifting is a great way to kick out the rear, so you want to be able to control it.
- don't use the e-brake, that is lame and slow.
- set your car up with a lot of power and skinny rear tires.
- fujumi kaido downhill is great for drifting, since going downhill takes weight off your rear tires, and therefore makes them break loose easier
@JJJJZ I agree with all of this, except the no E-Brake and skinny rear tires part. You can't use both, use only one of those. Also, drift Fujimi New Uphill. Once you can drift that without wrecking, do Fujimi Old Uphill. Once you finish that without wrecking, you're pretty much set for any track, provided you have a good enough car
Drifting with a controller sucks, force feedback wheel or nothing. I dont ever use the hand brake. I just use the wheel, the gas pedal, the brake pedal, and the clutch pedal. Its all in finding the right rythem through the turns.
what does it matter how good or bad a person is at drifting,so long as said player is enjoying their game. i am absolutely shite at drifting but have got my achievement that is all the drifting required for this game imo otherwise it would be included in your season play etc..having said that i enjoy trying to drift with my mates..really guys leave us bad drifters to just keep trying and enjoying the mayhem it causes..

ok this video screws up in a couple palces in my mind for example all weel drive is much better for drifting because you can controll yourself better or pull the car out away from the wall because you will have more traction also this is more personal i like high HP cars for drifiting preferably over 900 hp cause you can just hit the trottle to kick youself sideway and drift longer for more points also suburus are awesome for drifting ALL WHEEL DRIVE FOR THE WINNNN!!!!

Im talkin if you want to be able be in battles and stuff.. if youre just drifting in quick races or w.e then do whatever you want
break to the wanted speed or til the absolute last moment, steer in to the corner, half a second later you tap the e-break while breaking, release the brake and the e-brak at the same time and there you go the initial drift is done, when you fell that the car is leveling and you don't want that, you want the little extra points you can get right, the thing you can do is steer in to the corner and tap the instant reverse(X) for about half a second release X and gas instantly after
@buffel8611 this works best for awd with differential acceleration on standard but have the diff 35% front, the tecnique can work if you play around with the settings a bit in the differential settings to get it the way you want, but it's not that good tecnique for RWD since you can keep the car steady in another way by just hitting the gas more or something, there's so many tecnique's out there, but the one before is for AWD to control the car better and get more points
you that drifting during a race is fun but its not rlly atm i have a XBOX1 and the original forza i just started making drift cars so right now i have a supra,S2000,and acura integra all setup for drifting and my setups do provide enough grip to get the semi-long drifts i know the setups work for my style but i would like to see the effects when somebody else uses them
i am going to start selling fast and the furious cars.i already have about 12 of the RX_7 that han drivs in tokyo drift.i am also working on ken block cars and i also am working on my signature cars. my signature cars are cars with special decals that have my gamertag on it.the fast and furious tokyo drift RX-7 is going for 100,000 and the kenn block cars for 100,000 to 200,000.because my signature carsare unkown and very rare (i am only making like 15 total) they will go for about 300,000 maybe

I am using a bmw e30 m3 with roughly 500 hp single turbo upgrade. my drifts go alot better then this !.. and i still think i need to learn how to drift perfectly on forza.
@FemaleEmceeNetwork I use a Chevy Corvette Z06 with 505+ hp I didnt put much upgrades in it only a Limited Slip Differential and an Air filter and some other parts I forgot mostly it was something to do with the suspension and im still saving up money for a Corvette ZR1 Engine :D
@CrushStab no offense, but it is. Most people think it's not, but they are the same. In most cars, the hand brake, the thing in between the seats that you pull up on, is the hand brake/parking/e-brake. In most vans and trucks, the parking/e-brake is down with the other pedals. So yes, they are the same in the majority of cars, and in vans and trucks, no.
I don't mean to start an entire debate, just clearing it up.
try using awd to get started with. buy a tuning setup on the forza storefront, i learnt with subaru 22B. Just teach yourself as you go you will get the hang of it. Hope this helps!
@xX782Xx dont forget rwd drift is completly different... awd is really easy to drift with, but rwd takes alot of practice so better start with rwd as soon as possible in my opinion.

Drifting is so much better with manual/clutch and ABS and everything off it's much more of a challenge. A really good car is the Nissan skyline 1997 GTR V-spec
Idk if any of you have drifted in real life, but Forza completely failed in their physics as far as drifting goes. Whenever I slide I counter steer and hit the gas, in he game you keep the wheels straight most the time. That'll put you in a ditch real quick on a real road.. And I don't get that when you do counter steer in the game and hit the gas at the same time why you spin out, completely wrong.

I am using a bmw e30 m3 with roughly 500 hp single turbo upgrade. my drifts go alot better then this !.. and i still think i need to learn how to drift perfectly on forza.

@FemaleEmceeNetwork I use a Chevy Corvette Z06 with 505+ hp I didnt put much upgrades in it only a Limited Slip Differential and an Air filter and some other parts I forgot mostly it was something to do with the suspension and im still saving up money for a Corvette ZR1 Engine :D

@CrushStab no offense, but it is. Most people think it's not, but they are the same. In most cars, the hand brake, the thing in between the seats that you pull up on, is the hand brake/parking/e-brake. In most vans and trucks, the parking/e-brake is down with the other pedals. So yes, they are the same in the majority of cars, and in vans and trucks, no.
I don't mean to start an entire debate, just clearing it up.

try using awd to get started with. buy a tuning setup on the forza storefront, i learnt with subaru 22B. Just teach yourself as you go you will get the hang of it. Hope this helps!

@xX782Xx dont forget rwd drift is completly different... awd is really easy to drift with, but rwd takes alot of practice so better start with rwd as soon as possible in my opinion.

Drifting is so much better with manual/clutch and ABS and everything off it's much more of a challenge. A really good car is the Nissan skyline 1997 GTR V-spec

Idk if any of you have drifted in real life, but Forza completely failed in their physics as far as drifting goes. Whenever I slide I counter steer and hit the gas, in he game you keep the wheels straight most the time. That'll put you in a ditch real quick on a real road.. And I don't get that when you do counter steer in the game and hit the gas at the same time why you spin out, completely wrong.
Just giving my 2 cents worth of knowledge.
