  • A good song

  • Adam could NEVER damage the legacy of glam rock, he's incredible. If you don't see that you probably have your head up your ass.

  • I agree Adam is not glam rock at all but you can tell at times the fashion from this time influences him.

  • I agree that Adam Lambert may not be glam rock, but his songs aren't bad at all, at least in my opinion. I heard him singing live and I must admit that he is an amazing vocalist. Anyway, this song is pure gold and the movie too, one of the best I've ever watched in my life.

  • i would give both of my legs to sing like craig wedren

  • This is Amazing!

  • love this!

  • there something sensual in the song

  • Lambert is a sad attempt at a revival of the best time in london music. he should stop before he does irreputable damage to the legacy of such greats as Bowie or Eno or Reed..

  • @maclovin502 I don't think he can do any kind of damage, Bowie, Eno and Reed will always be great... no matter what comes after them.

  • Does anyone know why there's two versions of this song :S, the movie version and this one.. more than that, actually there's two different musical keys (The movie version is 1/2 tone up from this record), and the voices have some differences... maybe it doesn't have importance, but I'm just wondering why?

  • @infrarockers probably just to make it seem a little more fitting to the Brian Slade character. i dunno. seems like he's a little higher of a voice. like. his larynx rests higher when he sings too. to relate to the other songs in the movie. at least i'm giving you an answer. lol.

  • @infrarockers in the movie the actors sang most of the songs themselves

  • lads, glam rock isnt about being straight or gay or bi or wearing a chastity belt(clearly, heh heh.) or whatever you wanna do with your libido. its just there. its a generation. its freedom. its open mindedness. its not sitting there being a right wing extremist blind man brought in and wiped clean of all clear thinking by the machine. so, go sit down.

  • @666MartyB666

I agree with you completely. I love glam, glitter, space more than anyone I've ever met, & this movie doesn't capture the different meaning & depth of the music. I love Shutter To Think, & Venus Furs contributions, it's very good, & the Tumbling Down & Ballad Of Maxwell Demon sequences are really good. Glam music isn't literally about being glamorous! The movement wasn't about being gay or not, nor was it about trying to make it to the top! It's true stories are still untold.

  • LOVE this movie and I think Adam Lambert is the only GkamRocker out now... sad but true... well he is AMAZING! Im happy some ppl saw it too!

  • woooow, that sounds so good. was this one of brian slade's songs in the movie? the one with the music video? guh.

  • ahhhhh I wish glam rock were still on top

  • @OrgangrinderJay Adam Lambert's bringing it back!

  • @autumnhedlund He is a Fagg!!

  • @lunafire97 and we love 'em for it.

  • @lunafire97 So is David Bowie. And Lou Reed. And Marc Bolan. Glam Rock is hardly a hetero affair. Who cares?

  • @autumnhedlund Yes he is!!He's the reason why I'm here listening to this!!LOL I can't believe someone else has mentioned him here! It's a sign

  • glam rocks still huge here in merry old england

  • @autumnhedlund Bullshit Adam Lamberts not Glam rock.

  • Ya this song fuckin rocks. must be nice to at least write one great song. This being the only song ive heard by shudder. It's such a good song the rest must be bad. Like I wanna be adored.- stone roses.

  • @WolfmanToldmeToBilo nah the others dont suck. i think their better and i like this song. check out c.d. 5000 B.C, hell look up any of their c.d.s

  • @TheObliviousi "they're" ;) But thanks for the the CD tips!

  • Awesome tune!!

    After having seen Velvet Goldmine.

All I did think of this sound.

I ordered Shudder To Think's CD from across the sea for the first time.

  • Cool Indie band contributes to a soundtrack of a glam rock movie.

When I saw Velvet Goldmine I thought it's a 70's tune...brilliant stuff (the song not the film)

  • I friggin love this tune...sounds like a bowie classic! .."Your the grand one...come and court me!
