have you ever owned a cow or even seen a cow giving birth, perhaps you know what a hip lock is or what you have to do when a leg is back or when the calf is in upside down or backwards, or maybe you know what to do when the umbilical cord is wrapped around its neck, is it more human to assist a cow or to let them both die because you think that the assist techniques are "unnecessary" or perhaps you should not take pretense of having knowledge of something that you quite simply do not understand
I did not imply to know everything only that I am a fourth generation sucessful family rancher that has a fairly good clue about animal science and calving techniques... you my dear have already proven yourself ignorant about such topics by making the remark that you did and obviously dont know the first thing about helping a cow calve other than what you may have read in books or seen in movies
and to make assumptions about such things is quite honestly ridiculous take into account our yearly death rate on 150 head... 1% I think I have a fairly good handle on most calving situations... furthermore Im not quite sure what capital letters and commas have to do with getting a point across... other than scavenging for ways to discredit me or to bolster your own self esteem through such ridiculous criticisms
srsly rage moar RAGE RAGE RAGE RAGE RAAAAAWR BE MOAR ANGRY 'OH NO SOMEONE DISAGREED WITH ME AND BROUGHT FORTH FACTS AND EXPERIENCE FOR HIS SIDE SO I HAVE TO BE ANGRY'
seriously though, just accept a loss when you get one. rather than making yoruself look like an ass that can't just take the fact that you were misinformed, and someone tried to enlighten you.
btw i'm on the internet so i don't feel the need to spell everything perfectly to impress netfags
I dont know what it is that makes you think Im putting myself on some kind of pedestal just because I disagreed with you... as far as the argument you DID ask for it when you wrote a comment making assumptions about things which you obviously have no knowledge... it is good that you have said enough as there is nothing else to say... and once again Im not sure how capital letters and puncuation is going to make me a gooder person
Thanks for your comment. I'm glad you liked the clip. I really enjoy watching a cow calve and seeing the calf become so independent so quickly. Nature is amazing.
I agree. Cows are such loving creatures.
