A lot of countries have an SAS, not just america. It was actually britain who had the first sas and marine force, they've have it since the Spanish almada.

the S.A.S was origionaly an addition for the Army, when the Army couldn't do something the S.A.S or S.B.S were sent in. it was then realised that they could use the S.A.S in terrorist combat situations mainly due to they are so freaking awesome... im personally not in the military but i know a man who WAS in the S.A.S and he often tells our family on how when he was sent to train marines. they complained about it being "to hard" and "to brutal"...

The sas arent an anti terrorist group, the sas is part of the army and it was founded in ww2 SPECIAL AIR SERVICE what part of the says that they are for anti terrorism? the army uses the sas when they need things doing that the average soldier or marine cant do.

u cant compare SAS with marines...... marines r just better trained grunts SAS r a selected bunch of hard mutha fuckers sure marine training is hard but SAS training makes marine training look like a picnic, in the SAS people die in training regularly because of friendly fire (they never use blanks) or exposure to the elements.

using a sniper rifle is easy all you have to do is aim with L1 and move the scope with the analog stick before firing with R1

SAS are elite and so are the Marine Corps, remember "The deadliest weapon is a Marine and his rifle." A large percentage of Delta Force is ex-Marine Corps Force Reconnaissance which is the elite of the Marines. Delta was based of off the British S.A.S., the founder of the special forces model was ex-S.A.S. Don't bash the Marines, they're not called Marines by luxury.

The marines are not nearly as far on the right of the bell curve as the SAS are. The DEVGRU (used to be delta team6) are probably just as good or maybe even better (they have a greater pool of individuals to draw from), but an average marine is incomparable to the SAS.
