I'm a bit of a pedant when it comes to grammar, I listened carefully but didn't hear him misuse the word 'is'.
Anyway, I think the only way one can reject evolution as a fact, is if you only believe in one sacred text, but I'd rather put my faith in the overwhelming body of scientific evidence, than a collection of edited, cherry-picked writings, that were chosen by a bunch of 4th century religious politicians who decided only those writing were the definitive word of god.

@IInsistable To be honest its a little old... circa 1989... there are other freeware programs available to demonstrate this better. Framesticks is one... there are several others. With framesticks you get to save off a zoo of evolved morphs too.

You hear someone say confidently that something happened millions of years ago and you don't even think twice just because he is a scientist. He has no proof of evolution and natural selection was the majority of his talk with the kids (doesn't prove evolution since you are selecting what is already there). He says that then jumps to telling them "No God"

Why don't you PROVE the existance of GOD instead? Global warming is a fenomenon that occur since we have fire (previus to science), with out science, we wouldn't discover global warming and without science we cannot solve it. There are other books besides the bible, go and read them and you will learn more about the world.

So one can retain knowledge that you believe and also explains how the earth is a cube... but 'reason' (applying testing and logic to that knowledge) would tell you otherwise!

@CAtholic29 The sounds we makes with our mouths aren't offensive on their own, it's the context in which they are used that emphasizes how we choose to feel towards them. This is apparent, since language, and the meaning/usage of words changes fairly rapidly. Fags in the US are not the same as fags in Europe. Fags here in the US is a derogatory term for homosexuals, where fags in Europe tend to mean cigarettes. It's context, not content, that is most important.
