  • what is the program or software is this ? and is it free ?

  • your work is awesome great tutorial but video quality is poor of your monitor screen this is because of u were taking video with handy cam why don't you use screen capture software for this, this would clarify all the action u done on photomatix

    thanks

  • HDR is the shit

  • only pre-1969 fords are acceptable.

  • just get a screen capture software like Camtasia or something... better than using a camera... but cool tutorial! :)

  • @thesilvaclan O man! He got a slow laptop. Don't u see the process taking a looong time! :)

  • This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for sharing man

  • What kind of settings do you put your camera on when shooting the pictures?

  • what did You do from 9 min to end.. ?

    because I don't understood it.

  • my photomatix only uploads a maximum of THREE images only WHY?!?!?!?! HELP ME!! JOHN!!!

  • I have no idea why it would only let you do 3 photos. It's not my fault. Make a video like this and I'll let you know.

  • no promises, but wat version of photomatix u got??? and are ur files in jpeg mode wen u uploaded them??? Thaaanx ;)

  • @johnbmueller sir how can i convert hdr to jpeg?

  • When I get a better video camera, I'll do this again, but I just hope I can make it under 10 minutes.

  • You are aware that there are programs that record your desktop right, so you don't have to record this with a camera.

  • not so clear my friends....please zooming what you are do it...thanks

  • my favorite tutorial for this program so far, thanks.

  • how did he quickly brighten the lights and grill up like that

  • Great Great... I liked it ;)

  • nolimit966 and rjensen52553 - The program is called Photomatix and it is available for Macs

  • what software is that? thanks

  • You have me smiling, John! Is it a secret that HDR is not high on my 'wish" list? But you do such fantastic shots with it, after watching your video, I even looked to see what might be available for a MAC. Initial search results weren't good but I guess I'll looks some more. It would be interesting to "give it a try".

BTW... This is your second video I've watched (the other was the one with ol' stinky eye) and I have enjoyed them both. Way to go, John!!

  • On top of all of that, you're the man for doing this. You are a definitely an inspiration to a large mass of people and surely a lot of people will appreciate this.

and I personally appreciate the help in advance. My 9 pseudo hdr ordeal feels like over kill.

    what do you think?

  • Do you bracket in 9 raw exposures? and then if so, do you convert them without any changes to jpegs and then put them in photomatix? Or just take the raws and let photomatix convert them to pseudo or just shoot jpeg from the beginning?

That's what I haven't nailed yet (or at least one thing I haven't nailed yet), I don't know what process I mentioned I should do. I'm regularly a raw shooter, and then I let photomatix convert them to pseudo-hdrs and then combine those 9 into a single hdr file.
