@machosauceproduction love everything you said but am still wrestling with 3 small points. 1) If Noah's day had super advanced technology, then why did God have him construct a very simple ark (wood and tar)? 2) If you add up the ages of the "fathers" in the Bible you only get about a 6000 year old Earth making Adam to Noah 2000 years. 3) Couldn't angel/human hybrids have far superior genetic code (i.e. Hercules) and nephilim could really be literal giants?

Actually in Enoch chapters 1 - 11, I can't completely remember, it's pointed out that God sent one of his archangels (there are 4) to kill off the nephilim. The angels that took human wives were known as the Girgori. You should look up the history of the Book of Enoch and why it was removed from the Bible and also the impact it had on the writings of Paul.
The Nephilim were human/alien hybrids, the writters of the Bible misinterpreted them because the humans back then were primative and thought that these Advanced Aliens were infact Angels and Demons but coming from the skys the way they did many in those times would think they were actually Gods or Angels.

Well can't say I agree. Not sure what translation your reading Zo, but the hebrew ref is H5303 for the word "Giants" or "nephı̂yl nephil", the greek ref says a feller, that is, a bully or tyrant: - giant. I believe "Hitler" would of been considered a giant, or Napoleon, etc. Not sure if you read the greek and hebrew but from what I read it's not in keeping with your story. The passage of 120 years your talking about I thought too was talking about how long we were to live after the flood, but if you look, people lived past 120 years after flood too. Although we eventually dwindled down to 120 years....what that passage is referring to I believe is that God gave man 120 years to repent and turn from their ways, but they did not listen and 120 years after that passage was the flood....please tell me what you thing about that.

I really like your story idea, there are so many awesome stories in the bible, that just given the budget and the right director, could make an awesome movie. Also...Christ existed in the Trinity prior to the dawn of time. Satan, was the first most beautiful creature. OH MY WORD!!! ZO you are SO off on this scripture. The bible ALWAYS refers to those who follow God as his "Sons" or his children. The "Sons of God" in Genesis refers to the FAITHFUL!! These were human men NOT angels. The problem came when they married "Daughtersof Men" (non-believers). All throughout the bible God warns men NOT to intermarry with non-believers!! But these men married "any of them they chose"! So, they were led astray, as were their children...

I mean, they had seen perfection. They'd been in heaven! How could they view these women, women of man (with whom God was upset with at the time) as beautiful and wish to be with them? I doubt it was the majority of it. In the Sodom and Gomorrah case (Genesis 18, notably 20-33) God was *very* careful before destroying it. He even took the only good people out, having them flee. So if we are to believe the Bible (which I do) God either meant everyone or provided a way for the good to escape (a la an arc.) =]

here's a theory my mother brought up which i hope you find as interesting as she and i-
you know how people claim to be abducted by aliens? she told me about this theory that the aliens are actually fallen angels, and they abduct and "probe humans" as to try and breed with them, because the meat we eat does something to prevent that. but they use the technology at hand to try and make embryos in our bodies.

Good question! Don't really know. I offer only a theory that goes with the story I've made, but I wouldn't say that's how it happend. All I know is that the Bible says they existed then and after. I don't know how Noah Got two of every animal on his boat, but I believe he did! I offer a theory in my story, but but again that's for story telling purposes, to inspire people to dial closer to God for the answers.
As much room as a LOT of railroad cars on that boat; plenty of space for what was taken aboard. Is an interesting theory you have. So little information is given on the topic, speculation is fun.

I enjoy your movie idea from a strictly entertainment based standpoint. i too Have done research on the Nephilem and i think the "Book of Enoch" would be a great source of info for your creative endeavor. it was a book that was discarded from Bible at the council of Nicea. it describes in great detail the events that took place Pre-Flood, including the nephilem and the fallen angels. It's not "western thinking". It's good scholarship. I have a degree in Classical and Near Eastern studies. I have not studied Hebrew, but I have studied three other ancient languages and am well aware of the pitfalls of translating ancient texts.
I am also aware, as you seem not to be, that ancient texts, including scripture, have a tendency toward figurative language. What you quoted above is probably not meant to be taken literally as a measure of size (even at the surface, it's clearly hyperbole). Perhaps it merely means that men were "lowly" or even pestilential when compared to the Nephilim.
Some things you'll never learn from scholarship - it is also about knowing a culture. Like Indians Jones comment about getting out of the library.
Secondly, I am aware of figurative language. A good example is Matthew 2:23, many have tried to say the prophecy doesn't exist because they weren't aware of the root word of Nazerene is Netzer - he is the branch. You won't find the answer in the Greek.

Its a stretch to think that God approved and blessed their marriage. It would make it impossible for the destiny of humans (to become conformed to the image of his ONLY ETERNAL Son) to come about if humans and angels were "approved" to mate.

@machosauceproduction love everything you said but am still wrestling with 3 small points. 1) If Noah's day had super advanced technology, then why did God have him construct a very simple ark (wood and tar)? 2) If you add up the ages of the "fathers" in the Bible you only get about a 6000 year old Earth making Adam to Noah 2000 years. 3) Couldn't angel/human hybrids have far superior genetic code (i.e. Hercules) and nephilim could really be literal giants?

Actually in Enoch chapters 1 - 11, I can't completely remember, it's pointed out that God sent one of his archangels (there are 4) to kill off the nephilim. The angels that took human wives were known as the Girgori. You should look up the history of the Book of Enoch and why it was removed from the Bible and also the impact it had on the writings of Paul.

Something else about the Nephilim that most people overlook is that such an intermarrying and hybridization would also have served another, hidden purpose- it expanded the gene pool from what was originally there. I mean, think about it- from two people there are only so many unique combinations to be had, and with these Sons of God bringing theirs into the mix, it could have very well been an intended reason by either God or the Angels which is helpful to us. It's actually quite simple. The flood wiped out the nephilem, the behavior that created them didn't stop, so more came. God didn't allow them to survive the flood, the angels just didn't learn their lesson.
There's actually a guy named Heisner, I think, that does lectures on why the ancient alien theory has the wrong idea about the bible. He's an ancient linguist, and he has great lectures on what the bible actually says, versus what is mistranslated, especially in genesis.

These are all amazing questions and theories. But I myself am not worried over these things. I myself am a Creationist--I believe the Earth is only 7,000-8,000 years old, using the timespan throughout the Bible. Whether or not I'm right or not, the Lord God only knows. Well can't say I agree. Not sure what translation your reading Zo, but the hebrew ref is H5303 for the word "Giants" or "nephı̂yl nephil", the greek ref says a feller, that is, a bully or tyrant: - giant. I believe "Hitler" would of been considered a giant, or Napoleon, etc. Not sure if you read the greek and hebrew but from what I read it's not in keeping with your story. The passage of 120 years your talking about I thought too was talking about how long we were to live after the flood, but if you look, people lived past 120 years after flood too. Although we eventually dwindled down to 120 years....what that passage is referring to I believe is that God gave man 120 years to repent and turn from their ways, but they did not listen and 120 years after that passage was the flood....please tell me what you thing about that.

I really like your story idea, there are so many awesome stories in the bible, that just given the budget and the right director, could make an awesome movie. I appreciate you videos, and that you share God's standards of living, and that it's based on God and not something man made, or a person. Keep up the ideas, music, and ministry. The Bible teaches in 3 forms of truth...Historically, Prophetically and Allegorically. Just because we do not understand it...does not mean it is untrue. Unfortunately alien angel nephalim stories do not conform to the personality of our Creator. Angels have traits of both genders. OH MY WORD!!! ZO you are SO off on this scripture. The bible ALWAYS refers to those who follow God as his "Sons" or his children. The "Sons of God" in Genesis refers to the FAITHFUL!! These were human men NOT angels. The problem came when they married "Daughtersof Men" (non-believers). All throughout the bible God warns men NOT to intermarry with non-believers!! But these men married "any of them they chose"! So, they were led astray, as were their children...

What if the tower over many years of efficient communication and collaboration morphed into some trans dimensional portal that in the end corrupted mans lust for power, and that is why God confused the languages. Zo, this is all so fascinating. I read through the comments, and there's so much here! I do have a question that I haven't seen addressed yet. Why would angels want human women? I mean, they had seen perfection. They'd been in heaven! How could they view these women, women of man (with whom God was upset with at the time) as beautiful and wish to be with them? I'm really interested in the relationship between the angels and the women. How did they live? What was their life? Oh, the mystery. =P

I doubt it was the majority of it. In the Sodom and Gomorrah case (Genesis 18, notably 20-33) God was *very* careful before destroying it. He even took the only good people out, having them flee. So if we are to believe the Bible (which I do) God either meant everyone or provided a way for the good to escape (a la an arc.) =]

you refer to the angels as the sons of God, however, aren't angels sexless? and if they're the sons of God, why are they called the nephilem/the fallen as you say? everyone has a different interpretation of the Scripture, but i don't agree with yours about the nephilem. God said to eat meat of the animals because there is something in the meat that prevents angels from breeding with us, or else God probably woulda told the angels to breed with us. but he didn't, and it corrupted human genetics.

I didn't refer to the sons of God as angels. I referred to the angels that are God's favor the sons of God. There are angels
(1/3 of them that are not in God's favor.) By man, the word Nephelim has been arguably translated as "the fallen", whereas Moses was inspired by God to describe them as "children who became heros of old" That sounds more like they rose up, than fell down. BTW Human genetics was already currupted when Adam and Eve ate the forbiden fruit.

Ahh, good question! No, I don't believe God ordered them to. I just believe he allowed it, as the Bible says they married the women. If a fallen Angel is gonna rebel against God, why not go all the way, right? So why not just fornicate instead of marry? Why would demons who hate humans marry? How was Moses able to account for Genesis at all had not God given him what to account for. That's how I conclude that God to Moses to refer to the Nephelim as Heroes. Righto.

Good question! Don't really know. I offer only a theory that goes with the story I've made, but I wouldn't say that's how it happend. All I know is that the Bible says they existed then and after. I don't know how Noah Got two of every animal on his boat, but I believe he did! I offer a theory in my story, but but again that's for story telling purposes, to inspire people to dial closer to God for the answers.

Interesting ideas....going to have to do a little more reading on this subject, that's always been of interest to me. Good point on the "Sons of God" label. On Cain, always assumed that Adam and Eve had kids we didn't hear about,t hat had spread out a bit, by the time Cain killed Abel. Still, your idea is interesting. Agree 100% that technology was probably far more advanced than most think in Noah's day. For a good angle, message me.

I enjoy your movie idea from a strictly entertainment based standpoint. i too Have done research on the Nephilem and i think the "Book of Enoch" would be a great source of info for your creative endeavor. it was a book that was discarded from Bible at the council of Nicea. it describes in great detail the events that took place Pre-Flood, including the nephilem and the fallen angels. How would you know one way or the other? One thing said is that in the end days it will be as it was in the days of Noah, and many interpret that to mean the same cross-breeding will occur again.

Hey nice vid, umm quick fact check, the thing in the bible about the time of man was 120 years, that is the time mankind had left until the flood, not the set age for following generations, the reason why the age of man went down was since the age of noah all that technology and science that prolonged human life, was all eradicated, causing man to have a shorten life span... lemme know if that is plausible, thx :)

consider this as a possibility, maybe God made man through evolution. Since he uses his own laws, maybe the others where the children of the fallen who mated with neandertals. "They" would naturaly hate the sons of Adam, and salivate at the chance to kill his offspring. The Nephelim would have the natural desire to protect man, and had not yet been born at the time of Cain. Nice thinker ZO, I gotta go read the Bible now...I am excited about this idea.

The scripture clearly used the word Nephalim in Hebrew: V'sham rayinu et-ha-n'faliyim b'nei anak meen han'falyim.
Stop putting western thinking to scripture translations.

It's not "western thinking". It's good scholarship. I have a degree in Classical and Near Eastern studies. I have not studied Hebrew, but I have studied three other ancient languages and am well aware of the pitfalls of translating ancient texts.

I am also aware, as you seem not to be, that ancient texts, including scripture, have a tendency toward figurative language. What you quoted above is probably not meant to be taken literally as a measure of size (even at the surface, it's clearly hyperbole). Perhaps it merely means that men were "lowly" or even pestilential when compared to the Nephilim.

Secondly, I am aware of figurative language. A good example is Matthew 2:23, many have tried to say the prophecy doesn't exist because they weren't aware of the root word of Nazerene is Netzer - he is the branch. You won't find the answer in the Greek.

This is actually really cool! The Nephilim are one of my favorite untold biblical accounts.
Though, small account thing, I think the NIV refers to them as "men of renown". Also, Cain could've been fearing that the Nephilim would kill him, or that Adam's descendants would've killed him. (Seth may or may not have been born yet at this point.)
Also, just for something to play with creatively, consider Lamech. If there really was a pre-flood city, he would've been quite prominent in that city.

Actually there is reference in both Leviticus and Deuteronomy that only those who were "of age" could be chosen as wives, and sex was not "supposed" to happen outside marriage (the nation of Israel was *supposed* to boot all hookers outside their national borders and not allow any Israeli woman to become a whore) so *by default* pedophilia was forbidden.

you are right on about most of it brother.
what you may have missed:
the bible is written for man...there are a lot of things that do not pertain to man that are not listed. any issues with Nephilim would be directed direct to them.
they definitely cannot share in the inheritence of becoming conformed to the image of christ. That is reserved for humans, whom Jesus is the firstborn or many brethren (trinity extension)

Its a stretch to think that God approved and blessed their marriage. It would make it impossible for the destiny of humans (to become conformed to the image of his ONLY ETERNAL Son) to come about if humans and angels were "approved" to mate.
