  • Love the first move. If someones punching you, grab his arm, twist his hand down and break his arm. Awsome defending stuff

  • now do it on an actual attacker/defender

  • @GypsyPoetMusician I dont think everything in this video is monkey Gong fu, but his hand figure indicates the monkey several times under the video. Btw, the monkey is known for it's playing fighting style. So the more direct attacks, Shi DeJian show in this video, properbly isn't the monkey. Hope it was helpfull!

    E Mi Tuo Fo!

  • yes, it is shaolin kung fu

  • is this kung fu ?

whats the name of this martial art ?

  • @fo2sha2009 Shaolin Kung Fu (im guessing).

  • its like a living kung fu catalogue is on demo mode........

  • Boxers can be uprooted easily and felled, they are weak at the knee, back of the head, elbow, armpit, neck, face. Fists have less range than an open hand and can't hit pressure points, grab, are weak at the wrists and have to be pulled back to strike after being blocked. Fast jabs can be pushed at the elbow with almost no force. Bouncing back leaves you open to a large step and kick. Boxing is very inferior in it's techniques, if they win fights its because of their physical fitness and courage.

  • In reply to all wondering whether or not Shi Dejian is for real I happen to know that this guy has been attacked on several occasions by people that has been trying to kill him, one time by four ppl. at once... he's still around. Many martial arts-movie stars has sought him up, trying to make a name of them selves by "beating" him... as to the best of my knowledge all of them has, as yet, went back home bruised. This guy CAN fight for real in a real "street fighting"-situation.

  • @SvanUlf You're right.

Do you read the article from National Geographics about him?

Of course, Shi De Jian can fight. But most ppl here on youtube who claim ''this guy can't fight'' doesn't know who he is. Master De Jian had very much real fights (also against multiply enimies) and challengers and never lost to them.

Finally someone who know him and respect him!

    Peace

  • @MartialArtsCN wait, you can challenge a monk?

  • @WolfhoundMercenary lol

Where did I say that? =)

  • @MartialArtsCN Wait, I misunderstood probably :P

I thought you said master Shi De Jian was challenged or such?

  • Comment removed

  • Lol I typed shi too by accident too.

  • I tried to type in shit but I typed shi

  • Wow when i was at shaolin i sparred alot. Also theres tons of grappling and ground techniques. House offaction ignorance is your bedfellow. What no one here adds id the iron body training they do. Even fifteen years old here heavy dense fists that feel like hammers. Batbreaking On shins. Railroads ties on their torso and iron bars for their heads. no Sport fighter can compare to their training. Quit saying juijitsu works because if you get taken down in any fight you lost.

  • why a mma fighter? try muhhamad ali against this guy

  • i admire the ability of the gay shaolin monk. He is very fast and have good handjobs.

  • mma??? wtf ?? shaolin have 5000 years of prefection...... wtf is mma stupid asses

  • 猴拳!!!! 真高招!! 極品講解!!!

  • If you started disrespecting any of the styles, means you are seriouslly sloppy in the ART of martial arts, and not qualify to talk bout it. =D

  • @gingowitch @JoJo12777

He was using Hao Quan, that means Monkey fist...

  • @cgbuosi i see both. monkey and xinyiba.

    hehe

  • is this monkey?

  • Comment removed

  • Was he fighting mantis style? That is what it looked like.

  • he may die 10 times if this is a real fight..

  • The dude in the yellow shirt is either high or retarded.

  • esin to fight him but he will never have the contol of the art

  • Bob and weave and arm drags

    NICE

  • I dunno this...beautiful moves of course, but (like in almost all classical martial arts) in the demo the opponent isn't attacking him in any half-realistic way...it's all hugely telegraphed, half-speed and predictable. Would be interesting to see a guy with 10 years of KF training take on a guy with 10 years of say, Muay Thai training in a no holds barred fight.

  • @Edsta92 He will never fight like that. I hope you know who this guy is.

  • holy crap where do you learn this XD

  • @zedmlftw1023 this man is Shi DeJian. He is a monk from the most reclusive of China's mountaintop monasteries, and lives alone. so if you want to learn like this, find the forbidden places in china and you might learn if you are accepted.

  • is this like a form of kung fu or what? cuz its awesome, cuz i just took up kung fu classes cuz i earned a black belt in tae kwon do and im into martial arts. so if it is will i be learning this? xD

  • @zedmlftw1023 Depends on which of the hundreds of styles of kung fu you sign up for.

  • simple and powerful

  • LESSON #1 of any freakin martial art you damn well learn:

strength lies in the fighter. never the style.

adaptation lies in the fighter. never the style.

if you are so clueless as so criticize a style without even understanding it, you utterly fail as a fighter. i don't care how hard you can punch or kick. you haven't even the most basic integrity that is expected of a child in training.

  • are you guys morons? you talk about these monks as if theyre either super ninjas or frauds. guess what. they're regular people. they train endlessly.

they practice shaolin for RELIGIOUS purposes. & above all, they don't all fit the pitiful labels you give them & their art. the temple constantly pumps out new generations of monks. has it ever occured to you that at least some of them learn more than one MA in their lifetime? that some of them further develop what they've learned in full contact?

  • In MMa we train our techiques in full contact, so we know how it will work in a real match or fight, all these deadly techniques u cant train full contact because of the possibly of seriously hurting someone. And besides monks dont fight in the street or in competition against a resisting opponent, its easy too look good in a demonstration against someone who throws a punch and stops after u counter it. Alot of people watch too many movies and believe in them.

  • some sparring from one of his student

    /watch?v=HC6NPQfZ2Lo

  • the shaolin are great. This is not about which style or which fighter would win. A great difference between modern day MMA & shaolin/monks rather, is the state of mind where a monk originates from compared to a modern day george st pierre.

A shaolin or fully trained martial monk would beat most any fighters today.

i wouldnt be surprised if shidejian has taken a vow of non harm in his life. see how gentle he was with te aussie? practically massaged the guy.

  • @Thaddeus088 It's already happened that a Shaolin monk defeated an MMA fighter, according to National Graphics.

  • @MartialArtsCN would love to see a link to this.

  • @Edsta92 I quote': (According to National Geographic) A television crew had trekked up the vertiginous series of switchbacks hacked into the granite mountainside to reach the monastery. They brought with them a professional mixed-martial-arts fighter, whom they planned to film testing his fighting skills against the monks. (He went home bruised.)''

  • The shaolin monk looks awesome and fast. Too bad they put whatever-nobody attacking him, which spends more time laughing than actually trying to do something serious.

  • dude all monks have will do will poke their eyes out or shove their palm thru the throat... they train to kill not wrestle....

  • I like Wing Chuns style. I like how they only go for the center, the Golden Rule you know. After seeing Ip Man I was amazed, Lol

  • 那一腿是叫“黄狗撒尿”的吧?看得我一阵恶寒~

  • Kung Fu means ability, it has nothing to do with techniques for maiming and killing, which is what fighting is actually about. Gung fu is empty hand boxing, Karate roughly means empty hands combat.

  • this is amazing!

  • stop compare this to UFC! stupid ppl! Fenyx6 is right! they will kill u outside the cage!

  • Thanks for posting this great video.

  • Kung Fu is the complete form of all martial arts,jj,karate, tkd, etc all came from shaolin!!to say Kung Fu just for show than all those sport arts just for sports!!!!

  • The most fearsome folks are the ones who don't have a need to make public their abilities and capabilities. MMA as a sport is just that, a sport. The greatest attribute of MMA competitors is conditioning.

Size, strength, will, and athleticism, and the stomach to do just about anything, will almost always triumph over any potential attack that might come on the street.

P.S. Shi DeJian has spent countless hours to develop himself ti his level. Don't underestimate his supreme abilities.

  • I would love to see this guy on timewarp or filmed with a high speed camera or other traditional Shaolin monks performing routines. And Shi's pulsation.

  • The monk shown in this clip is moving at a slow rate so that he does not hurt his opponent. Believe it or not, he could probably move with enough speed that the camera would not catch his movements. Kung Fu is designed to kill your opponent as quickly as possible, whereas MMA is a sport and should not be compared to Kung Fu. It's kind of like comparing sword fighting, and baton twirling.

  • @Healthified You're right, but not all styles of Kung Fu are designed to kill.

  • You can't use destruction type moves in MMA, so unfair to compare the two.

  • Thank you Anime dj man.

  • mma is a for kids who can tell the difference between a game and real life. the only reason y u have stories of pro mma fighters survive bar fights all over the world is due to their athleticism brought on by their training . unless your pro chances a person countinues after hits from bottles and knuckle dusters is unlikely . modern sports arts are no more refined than their combat based predecessors they suite their need modern wrestling(sport) medieval wrestling(war art)

  • this guy would murk any of you...

  • This man is very skillful, elegant and artful but the average practioner cannot be like that. You need a certain type of slim and well exercised boy to reach this level.Far more practical to be muscular and use modern, swfit, practical moves.

  • @Athenian888 this is correct. but in your comment you allude to an admission that mastering this style would be the mastery of a practical art. therefore, why this need to USE the art? don't forget its truer intent: you are supposed to be learning martial arts in order to find a means of keeping the peace WITHOUT them. it's one of the reasons why i disagree with this incessant need to compare mma to kung fu. it's like asking, "who would win a battle between a blue whale and an elephant?"

  • Wrestling Wins Everything

  • @Horace01 Not if you stop them from getting you to the ground first

  • @Horace01 lol

  • Who really believes that the guy attacking would trow a punch a leave the arm there, without using his other hand do defend or attack too? It´s very beautiful, but still gives me doubts. Attack his temple? If someone really need to do that these day (and I doubt it) just grab a fu***ng machine gun and some grenades.

  • I know you cats are really into Donnie Yen movies and stuff but if you really believe a kung fu or tai chi master could beat up even a low level professional MMA fighter (or even a moderately well trained bjj player) you are delusional. The proof is right in front of you on YouTube.com. Seriously, look it up.

  • @Horace01 It's different styles man. An MMA fighter would probably beat a Shaolin Monk in the cage because ground game and rules.

if a monk and an MMA fighter met outside a ring, the monk might literally KILL the mma fighter, and murder isn't allowed on Youtube. Shaolin kung fu isn't a form of entertainment, they attack various kill points using some techniques rarely seen in a UFC octagon.

Monks do nothing but train everyday from childhood, don't underestimate that.

  • @Fenyx6 :) exactly!

  • @Fenyx6 You're right, but Shaolin monks learn ground fighting (Qin Na, etc.).

  • @Fenyx6 you are wrong, if the monks uses "Tai Chi" against an MMA fighter, he can use the opponents energy to strike back

  • @applecheer276 perhaps but MMA fighters are always decent wrestlers, and a huge part of wrestling is effectively taking down an opponent. I wouldn't doubt a trained monk could repel the average grapple or takedown from a street fighter, but a wrestler is another story. I'm trying to be impartial in my observations.

  • @Fenyx6 I'm sure a monk would win in the cage too. They also hav grappling techniques they train for everything they're well rounded fighters.

  • @hibyeeee2 Yes, monks learn these techniques. The animal styles include many ground fighting techniques. But in the cage are rules that the monks do not know. Shaolin Monks don't train with rules.

  • @Fenyx6 I must say I'm impressed, say you really know your shit! :-)

  • @Fenyx6 mmm... Maybe not even in the cage, would the monk be beaten. Most Ground techniques come from Shaolin, so they kinda know more or less how to stay away from chokes and holds. Also, the monk has learned strikes that easily incapacitate, like throat-ups, nose slaps, armpit jabs, belly button strikes, ankle pops or under-sternum finger jabs... and the pain would just drop the mma fighter... But I do agree mostly with what you are saying.

  • @1115WOLF Fact.

  • @1115WOLF your seriously delusional. first off all monks are not very practical the techniques they use do not work they dont even spar and first off all most grappling did not originate from shaolin your an idiot most grappling originated from pancration which is an ancient greek wrestling form that pre dates the shaolin monistary.

  • @houseofaction Did you ever seen the techniques? Pls also write the styles?

    They don't sparr? Not true.

Pls don't claim wrong things. Other ppl will believe this.

  • @MartialArtsCN no animal form woks it is a proven fact that no traditional martial arts technique works. the only way these techniques would work is if 95% of your training was in sparring. which it isnt 95% of there training is in forms and techniques and the other 5% is meditation the reason they dont spar is because it is a traditional kung fu belief that sparring isnt needed because they believe that all you have to do is practice your katas or forms and that will help you fight cont

  • @MartialArtsCN cont even though the facts are there and that with out sparring there is no possible way you can be effective in your techniques. this is one of the critisizisms that bruce lee had with the shaolin fighting arts he stated in his books that the shaolin have beautiful forms but all in all that is all it is and that it seriously lacks practicality

  • @houseofaction lol

I laught about ppl like you.

100% wrong. You never see any of these traditional shaolin styles in combat.

  • @houseofaction I don't understand why my comment would anger you so violently. I apologize, but I know what I am talking about. Greek pankration developed COMPLETELY separately from Shao Lin anything. I refer to a little thing called "Ju Jitsu". NOT Brazilian Ju Jitsu, but Japanese Ju Jitsu. Most of the practitioners gained their knowledge straight from the Song Shang Monks. (Shao Lin) Just because you fight for sport, doesn't mean that it is acceptable to start petty fights anytime. Amitofo.

  • @1115WOLF you did not anger me where in my statement did it apear i was angered all i said is that your delusional, and pancration pre dates the shaolin monostary, and your full of shit. jui jitsu was devloped by the samurai from earlyer forms of japanese martial arts at this time japan was very xenophobic and did not like outside interference, at this time the shaolin monostary did not teach outsiders there techniques. most people dont realize that china was also very xenophobic

  • cont. all in all sparring is the most important aspect of training because if you do not spar then you can not possibly apply it to real life fights. and im sorry but shaolin monks do not sparr in the western sense western sparring is the best type of sparring it is full contact and developes combat skill and experience the sparring they do in shaolin is no contact theory based simular to what they do in capoiera where all you do is pretend to fight no contact is ever made which doesnt work

  • @houseofaction The few real shaolin monks spar.

Most of the ''yan'' generation shaolin monks or secular disciples use sanshou for sparring.

The real traditional shaolin styles are mostly use in light or freestyle combat.

Ah, mma fighters can't fight, you know that right? =)

  • @houseofaction

Hi dude, I think you have no idea on what is a real fight all about. A real fight should contain violent movements, such as hitting at human weakness points (where alot of real kung-fu masters will know that). I don't think SPARRING ways will allow that as sparring trains you on how to protect yourself and fight in a right way, but not killing. So please don't compare martial arts as they should not be compared at the 1st place. If you started disrespecting any of the styles.

  • @vidvidfun i obvously know more about fighting then you. because this stuff doesnt work and has been proven to not work any way you spin it this stuff is worthless with out sparring, sparring teachs you to control your movements and developes reflexes even reality based arts have you spar and they are the closest things to reality, no matter how you spin it the moment a shaolin monk gets in a fight with an experienced fighter the experienced fighter will win

  • @houseofaction

i study shaolin kung fu and san shou from former monks and we practice sparring. i don't know where you've gotten your information from but you are very misinformed.

  • consider a fight like a conversation. each style is a language with which you can communicate. as a beginner, you're not so fluent; but with practice, that language becomes second nature and you're able to use it without thinking. i really don't see why it's so hard to understand this basic concept. this is why kung fu takes so long to master. this is also why so many people dismiss it as being ineffective: they don't want to invest the "time" and "energy" that is needed for it.

  • it IS a discipline.

  • @defiantwon33 well thats you and that is the former monks you train with but at the shaolin temple they do not teach sparring or believe in sparring.

  • @houseofaction

.....so you've trained at the shaolin temple are speaking from knowledge?

  • correction *and are speaking from knowledge*

  • @houseofaction .In MMA, are groin attacks allowed? Also, in a real fight there is no respect amongst the two or whomever are fighting. It is survival. not a match.

  • @1115WOLF it doesnt matter if groin strikes are not allowed in mma because shaolin monks fucking suck at fighting and do not ever fucking spar therfor they can not fucking fight you dumb mother fucker

  • @houseofaction I think that, by not ever sparing with groin shots included, you have no idea how terrible it is to experience that kind of pain in a Real fight. I can see by you aggressive words, that you have no patience for anything resembling a decent conversation between two individuals. Learning Respect, is something often hard to grasp. If you would wish to meet some of my teacher's MONK Sifu's, for a match, I think they'd be glad to peel your wrestling off them and make you submit. : )

  • @1115WOLF nope your teacher would not peel my wrestling and make me submit it wouldnt happen you have no idea what happens in a real fight people dont act the way they do in a fight this stuff hasnt worked in hundreds of years. hasnt no will it work with out an intense amount of sparring and as for groin shots i have been kicked in the nuts in a fight before and it did not end the fight. almost every fighter will continue to fight after getting kicked in the nuts cont

  • @1115WOLF cont because of adrenaline most strikes do not effect you the way they do in sparring. most fighters dont feel pain the same way when they are fighting because of adrenaline pumping through your vains a simple kick in the nuts will not end the fight most of all it will piss your opponent off giving them a better reason to kick your ass, i would bet you a hundred million dollars any of you shaolin monks would get there ass kicked in a fight with an mma fighter, and thats a fact

  • Comment removed

  • @Fenyx6 sorry but u got that thing wrong cuz no matter what the rules are the shaolin monk can still beat a mma fighter in a cage fight no matter the rules and u should know that that are techniques that they can use to beat themm...

  • @Fenyx6 in no manner would a shaolin monk be able to defeat an mma fighter anyone who believes so is delusional. there techniques are outdated and typical traditional martial techniques which do not work in any modern fight. it is virtually impossible for someone with little to no grappling training to avoide going to the ground against an experienced grappler that is a fact

  • @houseofaction . . . You know MMA is Mixed Martial Arts, right? They mix up a bunch of different "traditional" techniques and use those. All a monk would have to do is observe. If he knew how to knock out someone in many ways, all he would have to do is pick one. They train from when they're little children in many forms of fighting. I'd like to see someone whose only done it for a couple years try and beat one out of the ring. There's a reason its called traditional.

  • @Fenyx6 i gotta give my respect to a guy on youtube who actually understands the difference between sport and kombat^^ nice job sir!

  • @Fenyx6 Why do you unquestioningly believe in the supposedly magic arts of Shaolin? Doesn't that voice in your head scream to you "It's really too good to be true!!"? Hasn't it once ever happened upon you that MMA fighters are the real deal, and that shaolin break things and LOOK powerful without being actually powerful? Hasn't it even crossed your mind that Wanderlei Silva trains his nuts off every day and fights almost every month, plenty of experience.

    Just saying.

  • @ninjakid6 No one calls the art magic kid, and honestly the time the monks take to learn their art is well and above what most of the world has time to put into it. This video was basically just two guys playing around. I've been on the recieving end of very similar moves before and I assure you, aside from a few chi gung tricks that are mainly just physics being applied well along with training, none of this is too good to be true.

  • @Bastion83 A thousand "I've been on the recieving end." my only response is that I've been on the recieving end of the kung fu stuff too, and don't get me wrong, it wasn't a pussy punch, but then I got into combat sports and the damage is on another level entirely, the raw hitting power of more ring-tested martial arts eclipses that of the more fanciful shaolin styles.

  • @ninjakid6 while I really do have to respect the fact that your reply was honest and not that of the typical mma fan/commenter, I have to wonder which systems you encountered, just out of curiousity's sake, because some styles train using techniques to make punching in particular powerful while others have other focuses. I will say this much, the power generated by mma fighters is quite real, no lie there, my only problem are those who say its the hands down best. *bows* respect to all systems.

  • @ninjakid6 Live well and train well ninja, just remember its the man and how he trains, not the style :)

  • @ninjakid6 havnt you taken a look yet , as stated they do iron body training from a young age, and also mma doesnt mean ufc , there are many martial artist that are mma , mma has been around for centuries there dick tree, mma wasnt origionally a sport, you are to dimwitted to think, just because people dont fight in compititions doesnt mean they cant fight, when you learn real martial arts you learn respect

  • I love the forms which use the body as a striking surface, and focus on getting footwork inside the opponent's center of gravity. What is this style or form called more specifically?

It reminds me of monkey, but something is off.

  • I like this guy a lot, he shows practical applications of Kung Fu instead of flowery motions. Of course it is going to look different than other styles such as Karate or Kickboxing and that's ok.

  • white guy getting raped. LOL. aniwae in all seriousness. will this monk be able to take on anybody from mma?

  • @nkrulez

Not the point really. The better question is.. would anyone from MMA dare to attack his temple? Even in a group?

    My guess is.. ah..

    no.

  • @nkrulez A real Shaolin monk would defeat without any problems mma fighter.

These people know exactly where the human being are most vulnerable.

The Shaolin monks train the self-defense and kill the attacker.

But they would never kill someone, because that faith forbids.

Shi DeJian :) He is awsome :D

  • this sucks

  • nice

  • everything in this world has a time and place. Sport styles MMA has advantages and disadvantages just like traditional arts. I love all martial arts. respect to everyone.

  • shi dejian must meet a real fighter ... ;)

  • @word636

shi de jian will rape a so called real fighter, wake up dude.

  • @kftkft are you kidding me? -_-^

  • @word636 hah, your obviously blinded with all the wrong information, you hve, and you ubviously dont know who shi de jian is.

  • @kftkft ok boy, are you really sure that (for example) shi de jian can hold under a mma champion like george saint pierre? c'mon :)

  • @word636

man im a gsp fan too, but common, you just make me laugh lol

like i told you your not familiar enough with shi de jian!!!!

  • @kftkft this is funny ... you did not reply at my question:

you really think shi dejian is a fighter?

are you sure he can wins gsp (or less)?

why shi dejian "fight" only with participatory partner?

ps, i've not familiar with shi dejian, i just what i saw in the video....

  • @word636

i cant answer your question with a yes or no, but for the record

yes shi de jian is a martial fighter not a sport fighter,, and yes he can beat gsp i will put my life on it because i really do know the guy i have even been to his temple in dengfeng. there is a million more things to shi de jian than this video believe me.

  • @word636 Shi Dejian would beat any MMA fighter in a real fight.

    Just as any Shaolin monk.

He has a partner, because he does not want to hurt innocent with his exercises, because he is a monk.

  • @VizzeOne Ur out of your mind, as a mma competitor with street fighting expierence and jkd/kali/combat sambo training, u cant never practice those so called "deadly" techniques full contact because noone would risk paralysis or death in fight training, or sparring. Hence youll never know how it would work in a real environment against a trained fighter, not talking about some untrained bum in the street. In MMa we train punching, kicking, grappling, clinch everything in full contact.

  • I have always admired the humbleness of Monks.

  • Great Vid! Reminds me of my Sifu! What style is being shown?

  • I love how u guys say MMA as a Martial Art. MMA = Karate, Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Kickboxing, Muai Thai, etc. All Arts has it own filosophy. But i´ve seen a lot kung fu fighters geting owned in a MMA fight. Not saying that one is better than another, just saying that any martial art is complete. Got A lot of respects for the monks too. About the ppl saying that a real martial arts looks to kill an opponent, same thing as Jiu Jitsu (brake bones, choke.) But it got changed as a competition.

  • the ancient Shaolin kung fu - Xin Yi Ba - that Shi Dejian masters is almost vanished in the recent Shaolin history, being a Shaolin monk, he feels he has the responsibility to let more ppl knows and keep this kung fu, not for show off, not for fighting, but for Zen.

In Shaolin, kung fu = Zen.

  • Is him really Shi Dejian? Seems too funny.

  • carlos solari

  • Comment removed

  • I want to be a student of that shaolin master.

  • Where does this guy train at?

  • there are many stupid people out there thought that a shaolin kung fu won't work in the real life...if anyone want to test them..just try it!

  • @khanguyen10 but real monk won fight with them , monk learn for practice , not for fight. there are more and more people dress like a monk and organize shows around the world, they are not the real monk, in china, we will say they are cheater

  • This is so interesting!

  • yes, i have uploaded it.

    there you go

    /watch?v=Q8n3PqN9rLI

  • it's at w w w.tudou.com/programs/view/6JnDdcCBLsg/

    he's my hero

  • @aphelion719 its all in chinesean nd i dont understandf it, can u give me the link to how shijian vs the chinese boxing guy thx man

  • i have seen a clip very rare

that Shi DeJian Vs Northeast Chinese boxing champion

    they are very fast

  • The problem with this type of demonstration is that in a real fight, the puncher doesn't extend himself that far AND practically freezes in one place.

  • Anyone can look like a master if the attacker freezes with an extended arm after punching. Why train to fight a still attacker. Kung fu is only good for defending yourself against someone who doesnt know how to fight. Plus in a real fight, these kung fu artist dont even use their technique, if you notice they always revert to wild punches like a street fight. this technique is only for looks and doesnt work in real life.

  • @TheCandyMan01

You need to learn to understand the difference between a real training with a master and a demo training. Obviously ANY MASTER who has some love for his art and also for his pocket will not put his complete tecnique in Youtube, once there is an ARMY of bogus masters inventing new and fake styles.

Learn the difference between "demo" and real training.

  • @TheCandyMan01 Absolutely agree... I don't understand why kung fu people do what they do. They dance around looking fancy but when they're in a real fight, they punch and kick like any other street fighter

  • @wonton00

The forms of TRADITIONAL ancient martial arts were invented for the sole purpose of memorizing the specific combat movements (in an easy grouping). Knowing the form DOES NOT mean you know how to fight for real. It is up to the INDIVIDUAL to break down the form into tiny pieces, to PRACTICE endlessly, to free spar with other people only using a couple of those pieces, and to evolve their abilities using the main style essence.

  • @wonton00

If you can take someone out in 3 fast movements out of 100 movements because you practice those 3 movements thousands of time, then that's it. Originally, the ancient Chinese foot soldier was taught 5 or 6 (4 movement routines), but they drilled those movements until it was like breathing air. Then, it was off to war. If they applied the movements correctly in battle, they survived. If not, then they were dead. War lords n generals invented forms (during Peace) not to forget

  • @TheCandyMan01 I understand your position and you are right in some things you say, but if you are a kung fu fighter you do some pre-combative work(that's traditional) and many complementary excercises. You got to know that kung fu is not a martial art, is the name given to all martial arts in China by an american tv series. There are many martial arts called kung fu, and they are very different betwin them. There is also something called modern wushu.

  • @TheCandyMan01 MW is a gimnastic discipline that uses kung fu styles esthetics, but it's not a martial art, and you can see a lot of that in youtube(flying kiks and stuff). A friend of mine and training partner defended himself against three guys(one with a scrue driver) with his training and knowledge. The style we learn is designed to respond the attacks of several punchers and many other stuff.

  • @TheCandyMan01 It's true that some techniques are really difficult to get into a real fights, but it depends on the martial art and the moment you are in your evolution. Also you got bad teachers, lazy teachers, lazy students, modern wushu and people that invented a style and called it kung fu(and this is almost 60%, fancy moves=kung fu=cash).

Sorry for the legth of this i wrote. Salud!

  • Are these guys allowed to fight in mma? lol

  • #SHIT

  • i like this guys technique especially at the end when he went at full speed

  • Maravilhoso sou capoeristas mas amor o kung fu

  • Haha the beginning is the best part

  • oh wow.I like to see how well a guy like this would do in mma

  • @kwak76 get his ass beat, probably don't have ground game

  • @Malsintwit Your right. Thats because its not a game to him.

  • @kwak76 If an MMA fighter is beating someone weaker than him who is not willing to fight, stealing, or threatening someones safety or the safety of said persons property and if taking out eyes, taking out vital areas which can hinder the persons ability to carry on a healthy life was all legal in MMA and if there was absolutely no choice Then you might see a real martial artist jump there. Martial arts are not for spectators sports. Its for cultivation of the way and virtue. WUSHU= STOP FIGHT!

  • este tio se mueve genial!!!

  • This is the biggest shit i have ever seen

  • Some technics are very good, other are part of more complete technics.

The kicks are not perfect, but good for this short distance.

It' s a common mistake to think the street fighting superior to this style.

If you go in some places in Asia you can see it' s no in this way.

  • If this guy brutally kicks someone's ass, I'm just gonna laugh and buy him a beer.

  • but it is cute.

  • sorry, that did not convince me. look at this dumb western guy, he making himself a clown and then his stupid laugh. what kind of attacks are that, no boxer or streetfighter would punch or attack like this. just look at this attacks, is that realistic? no, it is not. interesting would be, if a real fighter very suddenly or agressiv attacks this monk, the monk would be go down.
