  • Guys guys , this guy is just trying to represent what happened at the Battle of Stirling in a graphical way for entertainment , Chill the fuck out.

  • what a crock of shite, there was no saltire then for starters, FFS get summat right.

  • thunbs up if u muted from the start

  • Pretty good work on this I think. Good job! Ignore the trolls. It's awesome.

  • @sixpackokc1 no, its fucking shit

  • Did you record this with a toaster?

  • WHERE IS THE BRIDGE.

  • ohh

  • he clearly wasnt focusing on being historicly accurate. the reason people watch this video is because it does a good job at simulating a famous battle scene in an academy award winning movie. find a better way to try to show off how smart you think you are

  • @ab6074 Someone prob made one already but i just found my old copy of the game i'll make and upload a version of each major historical battle the best i can lol.

  • i want to live in skyrim

  • Where's the bridge ... you fucking retard.

  • @Zebonka....I think he means 'THE ISLE OF SKYE. & by the way we're not retards, Zebonka, we also live in this 'supposed' real world your in at the moment, & to be quite honest, what's so special about yours. No need to be nasty, we have a bridge

  • I'll try to make it simple for you : the video is called 'Battle of Stirling'. There was a bridge at the Battle of Stirling, a very important bridge - without which, Wallace and Moray wouldn't have had a chance of winning the battle.

There is no bridge in this video. Therefore, the uploader is clearly retarded.

  • This is not a subject for cartoons you chimp.

  • @Hornet0biker dude, he re- created it in a video game. What's the harm in honoring Wallace in a different way? it wasn't a joke or anyhting

  • @Hornet0biker *bows....am Scottish...LOVE your comment son of Jock Thampson... lol

  • @RichardElden I hope you get a life and quit making an ass out of yourself with retard comments.

  • 128 english see their lose x)

  • I was up at Stirling last week, I stood on the fields of Bannockburn and shuddered to think what had happened there all those years ago.... Makes me proud to be a Scotsman. ALBA GU BRATH.

  • @TheAscendancyX he never had any siblings, and he never had any children. lol nice try though

  • medieval total war is a good game said by a portuguese!and the scotish are people who had less than the english people but they are so strong that they win!

  • @Annasavi yeah, and The English win The Battle of Falkirk too, that didn't happen either.

  • viva revolução tupac amaro

  • should've included the infantry charging against each other.

  • yh it was on the bridge. they used the narrow bridge as a weapon and it literally collapsed under the weight of charging and routing English troops

  • ok? this is fucking retarded

  • like 20 secs of fighting

  • hey you know william wallace is in the game right

  • fuck this , those guys are encased by steel

  • Long live Scotland.... (takes hat of and puts it by his heart)

  • What a load of bollocks.

  • HES NOT CALLED BRAVEHEART HES WILLIAM WALLACE!!!!!!

  • True battle was on a bridge near Stirling. However even then the Scots would not have won if it weren't for the French knights which for some reason aren't in the Braveheart, but I suppose that film is so historically inaccurate it aint worth taking seriously, its just a good war film.

  • Why do tools show their idiotic computer games on you tube?

  • @rothaic

If you weren't looking for this kind of thing then how the fuck did you wind up on this video? Its not like its on the front page.

  • very very good job!

  • the original script had the bridge in it and involved tricking the british. but i guess they decided all out chaos was better.

  • @Dullfang2 english* you mean?

  • @Dullfang2 "The British"??? Both sides were British.

  • @gaconnochie Sorry Scots were not British until that terrible day in 1707. Its a mistake made far to often by historians. Even the English would never have dreamed of calling themselves British before that so called union.

  • @MrSPECTRUM7 That was actually my point - though I maybe didn't put it very well! The poster equated the English with 'the British'. None were British in a political sense as that was still hundreds of years off. They were both British in the strictly geographical sense that they all resided on the island of Britain. Though I agree with you that they wouldn't have identified themselves that way.

  • @gaconnochie You are correct sir.

  • Besides, the concept of "freedom" as a right in and of itself probably didn't exist in the 1200s when this was supposed to take place. Good old Hollywood putting in modern values and changing history so its "politically correct". As for the bridge, Mel Gibson said it was simply too dangerous for his stuntmen to film the fight he wanted on a bridge, so there.

  • are you shiting me

  • audio sucked but besides that, that was pretty cool

  • what game is this ?

  • @celticmarco It's called Medieval 2 Total War.

  • @coolhatta

  • the scotts didnt have kilts in this period, but hey, its a great game :)

  • What is this?

  • @MoneyMaloney Game wise.....

  • @MoneyMaloney medieval 2 total war

  • Very creative:)!

  • @Mr25ir made in Hollywood..things like facts mostly don't make 4 a good story so the bridge had to go

  • @Annasavi its not in Hollywood, movie was taken in Republic Irelend...

  • @vanjamenadzer .. you dont understand, he's talking about Hollywood in general, not where the movie was actually filmed

  • @vanjamenadzer i wasn't talking about where the movie was made , i was refuring to the fact that fucking Hollywood hates to use factual events in its movies

  • @Annasavi oh, sry than, i didnt saw Mr25ir comment so i tought u said that movie was taken in hollywood... my bad :)

  • @Annasavi I perfectly understand why they would remove the bridge... I mean, it's an easy victory for the scots, the just attacked when the english were most vulnerable. A battle like that is not very exciting.

  • @Annasavi personaly, I Think the Bridge thing was awesome, it was just imposibble and too difficult to record so they just made it like it is...to bad

  • In the battle of stirlin brig, we lost men, in 1707 we lost the fuckin plot, we need more from our country, and its coming, lib dems talk if allowed, cons, still conning, Labour biggest traitors ever on planet, scots, judjmental, but on top of all this, And Norway has 500 Billion US Dollars in the bank for fun, hey i live in drumchapel and work in easterhouse, we need less than 1% of that money

  • @Annasavi Actually, I heard it was because of film complications around the real stirling bridge, and even in 1995, films weren't as developed. If it were made earlier, it would probably have been around the real bridge.

  • the true battle of stirling was on the bridge near of stirling castle, braveheart made a trap and won the battle

  • @Mr25ir the trap was for cavalries..it was called shiltron formation

  • @Mr25ir When you said''Braveheart made a trap and won the battle" lol his name is william wallace

  • @Mr25ir I think You Mean Willaim Wallace! The Greatest Hero Of Scotland!!!!

  • @Mr25ir his name is william wallace not braveheart

  • @Mr25ir You mean William Wallace. The Scottish won the battle; but the ENGLISH Won the WAR!

  • @JoshuaWGLloyd Not really. Stirling was in 1297, in 1298, Wallace fought again but lost and went into hiding in Ireland. He came back in 1305 but was betrayed and sentenced to death (as we all know). Robert Bruce managed to become king of Scotland in 1306 and lucky for him, the english king Edward I died in 1307 and his son, Edward II, wasn't quite as "good" as the father and lost the battle of Bannockburn (1314), which resulted into Scotland being independant for several centuries.

  • @HardCoreSuperstare I think most historians suggest, though no-one knows for sure, that Wallace was in France for that period.

  • @JoshuaWGLloyd Well actually no they didn't win the war! They defeated Wallace eventually but that was only the early stages of the first War of Independence. The English were then driven out of most of Scotland, bar a couple of castles near the border, by Robert the Bruce. The wars went on for decades but eventually England recognised the legitimacy of the Scottish monarchy!

  • @Mr25ir NO! There were truths. Each truth the English backed off across the bridge. On the third as the English backed off Wallace(through impatience) attacked while most of the English were on the other side. The english on the opposite side rushed to support but the bridge collapsed under the weight. Many english drowned or were caught by the scots as the outnumbered force.

    It was his finest hour.
