There's a box set called the "Samurai Collection" that includes a good DVD of the original Japanese version of Satomi Hakkenden (plus G.I. Samurai and Ninja Wars, which are both kind of boring movies). You can get it for about $16 from Deep Discount DVD.

Good deal considering that I have both Ninja Wars and Satomi Hakkenden. The only one I haven't seen is G.I.Samurai but alot of other Sonny Chiba fans told me it wasn't that good anyway. I can agree with you that Ninja Wars was kinda boring and they could've made it better.

When I Bought the dvd, I couldn't imagine this kind of soundtrack, I thoungh I commited a mistake, I didn't but buying this movie was also a Mistake, anyway, finally I found that song good, and I play it in every party I make (Just the moment everyone is drunk)
