@hr412 It's called "All That I Am" by Ryan Huston; it came from Google's library of songs you could use without copyright worries, but they've added a link just below the video now where you can buy the song.
@DefaultedC08 I honestly don't remember; it was one of the YouTube-supplied alternate songs, of which there are probably a thousand, and I had to pick one in a hurry. Sorry I can't help you with that!
@DefaultedC08 PS: Would be nice if YouTube would supply that info somewhere on the page as part of the audio-replacement process, huh? Hint hint, if you're listening, YouTube.
@DefaultedC08 The song that I replaced the original soundtrack with on the "I'm not Wormtail" video is "All That I Am" by Ryan Huston. There's now a link under the video added by YouTube so you can buy it if you want.
Have you thought of uploading the original video in a place with less stringent copyright, like Vimeo? I think it's a great video and deserves to be seen and heard in its original form.
Why do people insist on ruining other people's creative endeavours by putting their own ill-conceived musical soundtracks over the original? How arrogant!
Amazing actor! He has his brand of "oddness" nailed down, and nobody does creepy quite like him! He is good in many things, but his unusual characters are absolutely breathtaking!
I know, I that face he makes at the end is priceless. (The lady of the house has just asked him--her unobtrusive servant--how long he's been wearing his hair that way.)
@Doctorhotstuff you sound just like me, I had a crush on Alan when I was maybe about 13 or 15 and now I'm 20 and I LOVE Tim Spall. I crush on a lot of actors but my top three are Alan Rickman, Tim Spall, and Hans Conried (RIP).
To anyone who likes this tribute: Watch Through the Years: The Marauders, by thegirlwholovesmusic, very touching, though it does portray TS as wormtail, incase that's a prob for anybody.
Cool, thanks. Just to be clear, I don't have any problem whatsoever with Tim Spall as Peter Pettigrew; I couldn't imagine anyone else in the role, and he made me actually sympathize with the character, while it was that role that reintroduced me to his talent (after he blew me away with his performance in "Gothic" many years before). ...
I, too, very much enjoyed his Polidori in Ken Russell's Gothic. And I very much appreciated your fan video. Even though he so often plays secondary roles, his performances are never second to none. Thank you.
Thanks! Polidori is one of my favorite Tim Spall performances, much underrated it seems to me. (It also has a special place in my heart since it was the first one I saw.) Glad to hear you like it too!
I just got frustrated by the number of people commenting on how "hideous" or "ugly" (etc.) he (Tim Spall) was based solely on that one little cameo (as if he really looked like that!) when there is so much more to his career ... and also, poor Peter appears to have drawn the short straw among the Marauders when it came to nicknames! That was what prompted me to compile this video and title it as I did.
Great video tribute! I've loved TS ever since I saw Secrets and Lies a while back - all of his work with Mike Leigh is so fantastic. Which movie does his version of "Sunny" come from?
hello again! you seem to have amassed quite a collection of tim clips. i was wondering, do you have the clip of mr. spall playing piano at the end of "lucky break", and if so, could you possibly upload it? that would rock so much. thanks!
You mean "Who" are the songs from. ;-) Actually, they're all in the credits; I know they roll by pretty quick, but it was hard to cram everything into 10 minutes, and I figured there's always the pause button. :-) The first two are from the album "Quadrophenia" by the Who. The others are Tim Spall singing in "Lucky Break" and "Love's Labour's Lost."
Thanks for all the comments and positive ratings, everyone. I'm thrilled to know by my tribute to one of my favorite actors has been so successful, especially at making you want to see more of his wide range of work. :-) Yes, do see them all, but the clip at 2:27 is from "All or Nothing," and the one at 4:07 is from "Gothic." Hope you enjoy them! ("Gothic" isn't a pretty movie, but I thought Tim gave an amazingly intense performance, worth seeing it just for that!)
Fab! I knew Tim Spall at school. He played Alfred Doolittle to my Freddie Eynsford-Hill in our school production of My Fair Lady. I think his best school performance though was his portrayal of the cowardly lion in the Battersea County School production of The Wizard of Oz. I'd just left school at that time but I went back to see this production and was so glad that I witnessed Tim's performance! Good luck Tim - we're so proud of you!! - Tom Noonan (ps I'm a friend of David Wigg too!)
where'd you get the interview from 1:03?

Thanks for making this. Timothy Spall is such a great actor.
By the way, at 1:52-1:55, what movie is that from, as it looks like one of his early films, and I have not seen very many of his early films.

Thanks, good to know it still holds up. But it was much better with the original soundtrack that included clips of him talking and singing! :(

The scenes at 6:15-6:43 is pretty hot. His look at the end is hilarious.
I'm straight, but I love actors, and I can see why so many find him to be attractive. It's all about context.
