Everything has a conscious also.

Take a Venus fly-trap(the plant). It uses a way to lure, catch bugs and digest them. How did it know what a bug is? How did it know how to design itself to that purpose.

Random selection doesn't explain multiple designs for one purpose that is outside of it's design.

What does this have to do with God? Just because it's ubiquitous? Radiation, hydrogen, noise and dirt are pretty ubiquitous, too, but you surely wouldn't call them "proof of God".

The reason for the golden ratio's ubiquity is that it gives better structural integrity, greater surface/volume efficiency, etc. It's one of the principles of the universe, that things that have advantages tend to stick around, while less efficient designs decay. It's a simple principle, yet so many fail to grasp it.

Well, I think numbers are important, they are used in the bible by God.......continuously, if temples, or even Noah's Ark had a blueprint given to the builder by God, on specific mathematical instructions on how high to build, how deep to go, etc, than surely God is The golden ratio, but instead of calling it that, let's make a declaration and change it to, Yahweh's ratio.

to me, I don't believe that this has anything to do with god. I think it's amazing that this number has so many things in common. I think it's spectacular. Maybe it's just random acts. Maybe it is "gods" doing, but it's one of those wonders that will never be fully understood. I think it's amazing.

This dynamic filters down through evolutionary stages exploring different possibilities.

Alot of people talk about 'moral reason' being innate in all things, whereas I prefer to call this innate perception 'logic'. I believe in the Taoist view of the yin/yang interaction, the interplay between order and chaos, as opposed to set personal innate attributes such as knowing 'right' from 'wrong', or good from evil. For me knowing right from wrong isn't the battle between reason and irrationality, but rather logic and non-logic. Everything can be explained by polarity and mathematics
