If you don't trust people to insure their own kids... just raise the income tax rate in the 40-60k range to pay for this, or withhold 10% until they show proof of insurance. I believe in good traditional American values, like spending all our money sending our army overseas to commit unjustified murders, while simultaneously letting half of our country suffer, we can't afford to help our own country, we're spending too much fighting (unjustified) wars. @thespacialone Buchanan was arguing we spend too much at home, and that we don't spend enough abroad. You said you agreed with him. I was using sarcasm to prove my point that saving OUR nation should be more important to us than killing other nations, as Rachel Maddow pointed out in the clip. Apparently you cannot comprehend sarcasm though, I just assumed you were more intelligent than you are. I will give you that I did contradict myself in the last sentence though. Unfortunately, this debate from several years ago turned into the present Health Care bill, passed a couple of months back. Now we will pay the consequences for this irresponsible spending and see just what Buchanan and Matthews were warning about here.
