Pater is an excellent choice for this music.I love the scoring of this piece as the oboe is a beautifully witty stroke against the strings.The performance is however a

'neutral' affair for me.On one hand it isn't stale like many are in this repertoire,but on the other hand they almost entirely play directly centered on the perceived downbeat without variance nor do they use enough accelerandi(which are so vital to the 'Galant' quality of this whimsical rhetoric).Oh Well
