Nascar has never been the same for me without a great driver from Alabama. With todays mad rush to find the youngest driver possible we may never see another great one from Alabama.
The drivers today, with the exception of Tony Stewart, couldn't hold Davey's helmet, on a GOOD day. Stewart has the same fire to win Davey had. Many dont like him, but he's the best going right now.
I miss Davey he was truley a great. And was well on his was to becoming a Champion.Who knows if he was still alive and racing maybe dale wouldn't own 7 chanpionships. But im positive if davey would be alive still he would be atleast a 4 time champ.and whats sad is he was the last of the Alabama Gang next to Clifford who also died before his time.RIP Davey
Anyone else remember the tribute that was aired on ESPN at some point that had a guy singing (sorry, I can only remember one line) "As Davey takes the number 28 high and low-oh-oh-OHHH" ?
@wwwredneckcb Boy!, you sound like a jealous, envy Prick! Don't get mad at someone cause there at the Right Place at the right time. Davey, Wouldn't like that.
It sure was hard, for all of us. It was a fitting tribute to great driver and a great person. Davey Allison. God bless you Donnie, Davey and all the Allisons.

No doubt Davey would have been a champion had he lived. H ewould have made Jr. look like more of an idiot than he already is.
