  • suse 11.4 always requires password in wireless setup, how to eliminate this ? if a robot is set wireless, after booting, wifi not work and the robot will gone forever. TIA

  • @yxhankun skip the step for k-wallet. just push next and dont enter a password into k-wallet. that's all. to fix it you will have to go into manage networks and delete your current network because the data is saved now. you have to go delete that first. and then set it up again. just skip the step for k-wallet and it will solve that issue. i have been using a new Distro lately called Pardus. i like way better then OpenSUSE. and it has less issues. maybe give that a try. it's the greatest.

  • @MrGizmo757 no, I have six to eight times in 2 days, delete the original connection and add a new setting, it does not allow me to save. I still to re-type the password to let the system to connect to the router so that I can access the suse 11.4 box via my pc. Can you a clip talks about networking and wireless connection. Please. THANKS!

  • thanks, it really helps!

  • thx, helped a lot :D

  • you don't need to reboot after installing the ati driver, just logging out of X is enough.

  • @xwicked7 i Know but in Pardus it automatically restarts after the fglrx install. so i am just used to that procedure.
