In the older version during the early 90s, scores aren't presented, I think scores were introduced after the retirement of Rokusaburo Michiba in 1996.

I believe that they omitted the scores to save embarrassment, if the difference between the two scores was large enough.

Scores are only given when there are four judges, since there cannot be a simple "two out of three" judgment.
