This story still breaks my heart... It's like, you can tell that their affair is ruining their lives. They can't have any functioning relationship with anyone else, they can't hold together their families or let anyone else in. But they still have to see each other, because that's how much they mean to each other. Damn... It's movies like these that make me believe in love.

I just finished a watching the movie..and thought it was really really good..but it got me thinking...I hope men (and girls) are more up front about their sexuality cos it must be the awful to find out that your partner id gay! The movie takes place from 1963 to 1983, back in those days you could get killed if you were gay or appeared to be. Sexuality was such a sensitive issue back then. Watch the scene at the end when Ennis calls Jack's wife. Jack was actually beaten to death by 3 other men. The wife cries because she realizes her husband was having an affair with him all that time (20 years).

This movie was one of the best movies of 2005. Everytime I watch it, I have to cry. It just goes to show how cruel the world can be to people who are different. Also being that Heath Ledger isn't hear anymore.. I find myself getting ready to cry when I see him. I miss him so much, and may he rest in peace.
