episcopalena it is a branch off of the anglican communion. The differance between episcopal and anglican is the confession of sins.

Easy breakdown: catholic pray to mary and have statues yes confession

anglican: no statues, no mary yes confession

episcopalean: no statues, no mary, no confession.

Most other protestant denominations come farther down the tree and are a branch off of the episcopalena chuch.
