I read on a veterinarian's site one time that cats don't like the tips of their whiskers to touch a bowl or container. Maybe Otto likes to drink from cups because his whiskers don't touch!

He likes to sit on your O.U. transcripts too! Ha ha! If I put a newspaper or magazine down, our cats like to sit on them. The smaller the paper the better! It is strange; I wonder why they do that?

I think they like drinking from cups (and faucets) because the level of the water is higher. They don't have to stick their head so far down, and into a bowl. And what's with the ICE, Zack. Otto has to "drink" using his tongue; he's doesn't want to get tongue frostbite, you know...!
