I think the tikis are a much better (and more comedic) contrast to Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. Think about it.

The tikis are ruthless and seem bent on ruling the world...

...while the Kongs just want their bananas back XD

Although I would have liked to see the Kremlings return I really like the Tikis too. It adds a cool new twist to the series, maybe it's just what the series needed.

I agree. In the Zelda series the villain is not always Ganondorf. Sometimes we have other villains as well. Even though Bowser is the antagonist a lot in most Mario games occasionally you have other main villains as well such as Fawful though this is mostly in RPGs. Case and point. What is wrong with DK having a new bad guy now and then. If they just kept using the same villain it would get repetitive.

I'm still hoping they work out the legal issues with Rareware so I could have a chance to play DK 64. A remake on DS would be nice, like they did with Super Mario 64.

It's sad that this song is the best in the game but will only get half the views the remixes will get.

If Retro does DKCR2, they need to let Yamoto just straight up do original music with maybe like 1 remix for Stickerbrush Symphony.
