Dear citytransportinfo! there is something that i have to know! When it goes in tram mode, the driver how can accelerate teh vehicle: with a pedal, or a hand controller like in the "real" trams? Thanks for your answer
Very interesting, Simon! I was impressed with a ride a few years ago on a Geneva bi-articulated trolleybus: quite fancy having a go at making a working model! I understand that the very back set of wheels in bi-articulates is steered. Presumbly with these TRVs have steering on all axles to get that smooth and neat turning in the city? How does this work off the guidway? Computer - or physical linkage
@westporton hmm, you've caught me out here, as whilst I do know that all the wheels are steerable I'm not sure whether its through mechanical linkages, computers, or what.
Some single articulated buses also feature rear wheel steering, eg: the trolleybuses used on the Montreux - Vevey service.
The TVR as a mode of transport has not found favour and it is questionable whether either city will be using them for more than a decade or so. Also remaining to be seen is what is used instead!

This is a great video.
It does seem excessively noisy though in "Diesel" mode

Wow. Very Cool. At first it looks like crap. But the new versions are perfect.
