  • great band!!!!!!!!

  • fucking amazing.

  • I saw these guys last night. Fucking wicked. Insane pits. Why hadn't I heard of them before??

  • these guys are fucking amazing!

  • 2:08 chuckachuckachuckachuckachucka

  • My ears are still recovering after epicness overload

  • Holy shit can this band play, I love it!

  • I like this but what the hell is it?

  • @MrSis89 Are you asking what genre it is? If so, then the answer is thrash metal.

  • @MrSis89

    SPACE THRASH!

  • Wow two of my favorite NWOTM bands is Vektor and Havok, Vektor is literately "Destroying the cosmos" up in space and Havok is reaking hell on the ground, their enemies "Time is up". Both bands fighting for the same reason, to kill emos and pussies or any poser who doesn't get "Out of the way"! It's going to be a "Black future" for the fools who "Burn" in agony!

  • @Mctallicaful471 I see what you did there.

  • Woww this would be "album only" on iTunes when I only have like $7 left -_- way cool song, gonna hafta just go get the CD then, I guess

  • Vektor is the best thing to happen to metal in the last 10-15 years.

  • Kind of like Skeletonwitch with alot more thrash

  • @PatrioticFireworks More sci-fi than Skeletonwitch, too.

  • when the guitar comes in at the Intro... This Melody reminds me sooo much X-Files!!! What an opener to an insane Album. Only Thing they need to make me happy is to tour europe, especially germany

  • ohhhohohhh thank you VEKTOR for existing!!!

  • seriously this is so fucking good! how could this bands existence ecaped me?!

now the only problem ,where can i buy these guyses record dude?

  • @DoThatCrazyShiz They have a webstore, or you can check them out on facebook... They also have a youtube if you wanted to contact them.

  • @DoThatCrazyShiz Order them straight from Vektor.

  • this band reminds me alot of obliveon only difference is the vocal style great stuff

  • @Nelson123n From This Day Forward!! dundumdundumdun Nothing is going to be the Same!!!!!!!! I love that band, and I got the album "From This Day Forward" on CD at home, I love it! It's both strange trippy spacy thrash metal, so I guess you are very right about that!

  • @EverxOpeningxFlower yea man really great album they just dont make metal like they used to

  • @Nelson123n OBLIVEON IS FUCKIN AWESOME!!!!!!!!! great to know that someone out there still knows who they are \m/

  • @EuphoriaMetal Me too man. Sick band.

  • These guys are fucking awesome! How come I'm just now hearing them today? I must be slipping. Thrash, techy, creative, great bass tone, and I'm diggin the black vocals.

  • 2 dislikes??? jealous people...

  • this band is amazing !! very original and good!!! big like!!

  • The Intro is very similar to "Devil's Tower" of Angel Witch!

So Vektor have also NWOBHM influences...awesone.

  • Anyone else hear some Annihilator influence from about 2:10 - 3:00?

  • @MetalorGraves No, only you...

  • @MetalorGraves yeah

  • @MetalorGraves Yeah some .

  • you sent me on another planet. amazing!

  • Yes! thank you

  • fucking awesome band

  • Man... I guess the thrash crowd is a little bit older but I think metal is alive and well! Vektor is definitely a part of that but they are not alone.

  • @bce5150 Agreed. Just look at Mastodon, Born of Osiris, Insomnium, Vildhjarta, Hope for the Dying, and especially Sylosis. Metal is still very alive and well

  • @FuzzyWookie197 Hell yeah. and don't forget Revocation!! One of the best bands to hit metal EVER.

  • @FuzzyWookie197 Metal is very much alive..

But the majority of those bands you listed have nothing to do with it, as many of them suck and are the reason hipsters are defiling our glorious halls. The hipsterication of Metal, as you may or may not know, is one of the leading causes of Metal dying/sucking. And Modern Metalcore should never, ever be considered Metal, especially Sylosis

HftD confirms my believe that the term "Death/Thrash" is slowly being turned into another word for "Deathcore"

  • anyone else think the guitar tone sounds kinda cool and original?

  • @liogarus @DoubleEdgedSword12

Thanks guys, but I'm not really into finding good new metal right now. I happened to stumble across Vektor, and they're enough for now.

    Thanks anyway

  • @BroodingPsycho Try Evil Army, they are fucking intense, especially songs like Driven to Violence and Scum of the Earth. The singer/guitarist has been in prison for a while so the band is on hold atm. Also try Hexen, Warpath and Diamond Plate's EP's (dont like their album).

  • Thrash now,work Later

  • best album of the year

  • I hope to one day visit the universe this band came from.

  • Theres always a faggot who dislikes a good metal song

  • Reminds me of Nothingface era Voivod...at lest the intro does. Some of the wierd guitar fills/solos in the other songs remind me of mastodon

  • @swbsjb trv dat

  • 0 dislikes? life is good

  • @TheFozzyogoody some asshole disliked it unfortunately

  • @KinetiK001 shit last time i was on there were no dislikes:(

  • @TheFozzyogoody check again...(it wasnt me)

  • FUCK YEAH!!! i went to see these guys 2 days ago and they played this album front to back!!! \m/ GREAT SHOW

  • Usually don't like this sort of stuff, but this is awesome!

  • the blast beat with the tremolo its fucking brutal, nice tempo changing and bass sound, that tremolo its scary

  • wut a fukin album opener!

  • Mark my words - This band is going to be HUGE in a couple of years.

  • @bozzi90 I doubt it man. They deserve to be huge but its too technical and aggressive for most people to grasp. They could be huge in the underground, and maybe in places like Japan and South America. But most of the population are too busy listening to Rhianna.

  • fucking awesome! loving this!!

  • sounds like mediocre 80s thrash riffs mixed with Gory Blister (and old school Death. maybe even some of the more prog era Pestilence). its done well, its just not that catchy.

  • @BlackEcology That's the same problem I have with bands that rely on technical ability to wow the audience. They focus more on technical wankery rather than formulating strong riffs and expanding them. It's not that I don't "comprehend" the work, it's just that they often seem to write something that's about to get interesting, then quickly move onto the next thing. Definitely talented musicians, I'll still admit.

  • If you're reading this, you had better have already purchased this album! Support these murderers... can't wait for 12/6, or whenever Amazon decides to deliver my copy...

  • @ericiidx I wait for for the vinyl to show up to buy both to save shipping. But, don't worry, this albums sells great, Black Future was already Heavy Artillery Records best selling album to date.

  • @EverxOpeningxFlower oh no worries, I wasn't directing that at you in particular, just anyone who happens along and hears it! :-)

  • @ericiidx Haha I know, just wanting to show my loyalty to this band by saying I buy both the cd and the vinyl.

I heard their next record will be a concept album, really looking forward to it, but damn, that takes atleast 2 years for that record to come out and I don't really got that many records to look out to after this epic release!

  • @ericiidx The CD copy won't be out till December 6th.

  • @arabianmetalhead99 I know, it's a shame.

  • @EverxOpeningxFlower SUCKS ASS. Something happened with sonny and vinyl will take awhile

  • @arabianmetalhead99 I heard the vinyl has a even cooler artwork, so I need to get that one!

  • @EverxOpeningxFlower It has a photo of vektor on it with green around it

  • @arabianmetalhead99 Really? Are you 100% shure? Because that's kinda lame..

  • @EverxOpeningxFlower I think.

  • @arabianmetalhead99 Oh thank god, because that would look awefull as an artwork.

  • @EverxOpeningxFlower Ha yeah man!

  • @arabianmetalhead99 Hey, Heavy Artillery Records sells the cd now, bought it and is on the way! Can't wait!

Btw, do you have any idea how to upload rip dvd's and put them on youtube? I got 2 Vektor bootlegs at home which look pretty cool, the content isn't on youtube and I guess some people would like to see more live stuff from them.

  • this is great

  • At a time when a lot of contemporary metal seems so generic, I find myself drifting away from it, to the realms of British classic -and progressive rock. Then comes a band like Vektor and shows me there's still hope, and that unique, worthwhile, sophisticated metal is still being made.

  • @BroodingPsycho

I have to agree. Mindblowing sound.

  • @BroodingPsycho look for kvelertak. Good stuff, good stuff.

  • @liogarus Pfft, just walked out of their gig a few days back, toxic holocaust blew them away by far...

  • @BroodingPsycho Also check out Havok, Evile, Lazarus A.D., basically any modern thrash band you can get your hands on

  • @BroodingPsycho totally agree! there are so many generic thrash bands out there now. it's annoying.

  • @BroodingPsycho Absolutely

  • Comment removed

  • Vektor is one of the greatest things that's happened to Metal in recent years. They're doing something unique without straying from their thrash roots.

  • 309 views.. that makes me cry :'(

    This is fucking amazing..

  • this is fuckin amazing! greatest new band!

  • *manly tear*

  • everybody needs to hear this.

  • Holy fuck
