Wow - lovely paper and great video. Was that done on Moviemaker?! I especially like the snow related items made with snow theme paper.
Now I'm all inspired to not only learn how Moviemaker works, but to drag out my origami books and paper and get folding. It's been awhile since I've done that.
Thanks so much! Yes, Moviemaker...I've only done 3 videos, but they were easy & fun! That Origami is addicting!!! I tried subscribing to your channel, but you don't have a Subscribe button?
Thanks for the nice comment Joyce. The origami attempt was on a whim when someone gave me a gift package a few years ago! It quickly became an obsession and I had to stop!! I can't do anything without the instructions in front of me though lol!
Great job Five stars, and the music is PERFECT for this! The grand finaly of all of them together would make a wonderful card too! P.S. By the way, one of my artist friends plays the bondrah? <--- spelling. How's that talent coming along?
Wow Sharon! I'm amazed at all of these. I especially like the Christmas tree one, and the flower. I'm dumb about origami, is there any cutting involved? or is it all bending? So cool! I for one would NEVER have the patience to do all the "obvious" tedious work involved that you did here.
Funny you and Doug like the tree - both of them seemed a little crushed from the bag and I had to pick the best angle for the photo. I was obsessed! I just kept making them, I couldn't stop!!
Why thank you Rick! These are actually from a couple of years ago and I've had them in a bag. There was no dinner being made or housework done during that period!! I was obsessed!! Now that I have documented them, I can probably toss them....NOT! It was fun turning them into a video and searching out the music!
Well, Chris, the reason you see only the finished product and not the actual process is because there was lots of cursing, folding, refolding, tearing up, tossing out, more cursing etc. while creating these things!
Hi Sharon. Those are all beautiful. I especially love the Christmas Trees and the stars. And the papers look really nice too. I like the one with purple ribbons. Cool music as well. 5 stars -- The weather has been really nice over here. How about over there? The humidity hasn't kicked in yet it's like California in Spring.
Thanks, Doug! I made so many Christmas trees and stars that I took a big box into work and gave them out! I still have lots of origami paper left, but I'm afraid to start up again! Your weather is my weather I guess (last June I spent a week @ Mission Beach with my son & family! What a wonderful time!!
Sharon, very beautiful Origami! A very nice choice of music too!!

This is about as artistic as it gets for me Kim. I'm really a no-talent in the art department! Thanks for checking it out!

Yep, my crafty moments don't come often lately, but when they do, forget doing anything else!!

Sometimes you have to let everything else go and explore your creative side. It is very cleansing to the spirit.

Thanks, Val! I was obsessed and could not stop folding!
Sharon1944 3 years ago
Now, that's probably the coolest origami paper I've seen... ever! :O
It's exactly how it goes, for everyone, I think, trying origami for the 1st time: it's simply impossible to stop folding that paper!
The only thing able to stop you... is to actually run out of origami paper! ;-D
Here comes the problem.
Because with any evoluted wordprocessor you can draw two 14x14cm squares on an A4 paper sheet, print & cut them... and you may begin again! xD
It's what I do! MUHAHA! xD
Happy folding!
