okay, so i watched this cos it said 'preview' on the title - it doesn't watch like a preview, and there's major spoilers in the comments...great...last time i watch a 'preview' on youtube before i read the book :(

and about Fred

I would so love him to live, i mean i was crying when he died in the book

But if they do get him to live, it would just be awful

And i had to bloody find the book and read the blurb to remember what was going on

i'm confused: does fred die in this or not? i've seen another video with the same clip & people have said he doesnt die, when he does in the book. surely the bbc can't have changed this much of the story? it's a great book, my favourite of the three, & as much as i would love fred to remain alive, i don't think they should. please help!

I didn't know what a great acting talent Billie Piper was until I saw Doctor Who, now I love her stuff. Can't wait for this. Looks like a fantastic sequel to the gripping The Ruby in the Smoke.
