This shouldn't have happened. Bob, Joyce and Scott got beat to dust by BZ as far as I'm concerned. It's bad enough that they had to take the CBS affiliation, but this drives a machete in BZ's heart. An era has permanently ended in New England.

Sport's Final isn't the same without Lobel. What are we going to do in football season.Bob I hope you turn up somewhere else sports radio or another network.

Bob was the only one I regularly watched on Boston tv period. I'm a news junkie and not all that fond of sports. SHAME on broadcasting and the print media for showing up at the internet party with too little too late. Bob is a tremendous personality. It goes to show you that television really has nothing to offer the average viewer when they let talent like him go.

I always looked forward to Fridays at 5:00 on WBCN radio...Lobel and Nick Carter's afternoon give and take was great. I wasn't from Boston and know many people don't like him but I always found him entertaining. Good luck, Bob!
