@slpau4 actually, this is the right speed they usually play it at. in the 80's, they played it so fast because everything was fast and they wanted to give what the crowd wanted.

I love this record for they played many old tunes. BUT.. it is ALL way TOO slow.. making it SO boring.. I don't get this..If they were using the make up back then then there'd be one more element that would take peoples atention but since this was non make up era, slowing down things like Love Gun, Detroit.. Uhhh, hurts.. And if you know how to get bored brazilians ( as you can see and here from the tape ) then there is really something wrong.. Tempo is the key I think.. MAS AMO KISS MUITO!!!!;)

Minha banda preferida é Aerosmith, o Steven continua cantando pra porra ainda, canta até melhor que antes. Adoro Stones e o Mick ainda canta pra porra. KISS é outra paixão e o Paul canta como se fosse garoto ainda, no começo do KISS. Isso que diferencia um verdadeiro vocalista de Rock.

74Black diamond, you're right, and thats why I thing Bruce sucks as guitarrist for Kiss. Once you have a guitar player like Ace Frehley and his classic solos for songs that he wrote or helped to create, no one should mess with that! period. Mess around with Love Gun's solo, or a 100000 Years's solo is a sin. That's why Bruce Kulick was always a sideman for Kiss. And thats what Tommy is one now. (Even though he is a great guitar player)

Your comment doesn't make sense - Tommy plays the Ace stuff 100% like Ace, Bruce played the stuff a little differently. You say that they're both sidemen, but they did completely different things......

I dont know why Bruce does it, but he kills this solo everytime. Ace did one of the most amazing solos for this song and Bruce killed once more...I cant hear one note here that's from the original recording...Bring Ace back!! Tommy's a good player too, but none of'em have the charisma or soul that Ace has!

Bruce has always done his own solos in place of Aces which is weird because he can still do Vinnie's and Mark's solos.

@74BlackDiamond74 Just a guess and gut feeling but it has probably something to do with him being a good guitarist like Vincent and St. John, where he finds the leads more intriguing and even challenging to pull of. Ace really is way worse guitarist than people credit him for. I don't exactly mean to bash Ace as the original KISS guitarist but c'mon. And if someone wants to inhale some peas for that comment, maybe Ace had told him to back off from his legendary leads?

@74BlackDiamond74 Perhaps Vinnie and Mark were technically and melodically equal to Bruce's and Ace being mediocre guitarist at best just didn't bring much challenge to the ring and he wanted to add his own touch to those parts. Good sounding harmonies. Whoever did the lights on this show needs a lesson. Why did they keep leaving them in blue? Too bad they could use pyro. Countries like that really miss out.

We had both pyro in 1983 and 1999, believe me, it was not about the pyro, the team that was responsible of doing the show was really bad.... if you watch all the show, you'll see that Paul is pissed off at it... they made lots of mistakes.
