I think there are a number of performers throughout Idol seasons who have merited 1st place, Kris Allen and Adam Lambert amoung them. About these two men: they're both lovely! Allen was criticized in his audition for being too modest. We can see that having won his Idol season, he was still reluctant to take credit. Really a lovely person. Lambert, too. More recent interviews with him, such as with Justin Lee Collins, also show Lambert to be well grounded, charming and not stuck on himself. Thx!

It's hilarious to me how obvious it is that the judges aren't happy about Adam losing.They act more excited after all of Adam's weekly performances than when Kris won the whole thing!They're all just silently standing there clapping even at 2:03, the judges are standing and just clapping and Simon just sitting there in disbelief...They're both good but Adam shoulda won...Kris got more votes, so he was more popular, but once his CD's come out, nobody buys them!? All we hear is Adam! I dont get it

I understand why you wish Adam would have won, but everyone has their own taste is music style. Adam was better off because he doesn't have to contend with the stigma of being an AI winner.
