I was fortunate enough to have sampled DELYSID, the real LSD-25. Unfortunately, it was only a mere 100 micrograms.  It takes about 250 mcg. for me to trip and over 300 mcg. to navigate into inner space and see myself as I really am. LSD gave me a good swift kick in the rear and by Jove, I needed that!! chances are far better than average that it wasn't actually pure lsd. hoffman is one of very very few people who have ever taken true LSD-25. it's very sensitive and requires sophisticated lab equipment (sometimes an inert atmosphere- no oxygen, big rubber gloves through a plastic case type thing) to keep it from turning to black sludge. oxygen just ravages it. but once it's been made and it's sealed in a dark, cold place it can last indefinitely.
