I'll admit, American 'high-end' is becoming more attractive and meeting some of the standards the German and Japs give, however with 12% of Mks 9% if Caddy Cts going back as Lemons, the question is; are they as refined? I own a 03 Gs430 and it still gives me goosebumps on all levels.

Toyota was the very one that developed Park Assist and deployed it in 2003. Technologies progress everyday. It would be very stupid if US and German auto makers can't develop something similar and better YEARS after Toyota. Btw, Toyota is already developing their 2nd generation Park Assist. I heard it'll be deployed in redesign LS. And it will once again surpass all of current park assist.

Lexus is approaching Luxury from a BMW and Mercedes point of view when Luxury really does not exist. Their power seats and other electronics move too slow. Their Navigational Screen is now going slow too. it was great before. Whereas Cadillac and Lincoln are going faster and more natural. Lexus made great cars, but they are over doing themselves not with craftsmanship but by limiting themselves to the word Luxury. American Luxury is the real deal.
yeah not only is it more fuel efficient , its cheaper, just a luxurious, has just as many standard options, it bigger inside, and it can park faster. why would you buy a Lexus?
