  • @MegaStephenm Ha, ha.... no they all train. This was actually part of a local gym competition. There were a lot more people and lifters out of the view of the camera. Guy in the white shirt watching is a fucking tank at 198 pounds.

  • I think a year and a half?? I went from deadlifting regularily but not really taking it seriously and pulling 675 to training full out using the RTS manual to pull close to 800. This was done 100% naturally as well. Thanks for the comment.

  • That isnt really true. The normal discrepancy with being "raw" or not usually has to do with the use of knee wraps, or knee sleeves. Belt only is raw. Look at Raw competitions and you will see that a belt-only equipment selection is used.

  • i say you're both wrong...the term raw in squatting means to state that the lifter isn't wearing a squat suit, in the bench it means he's not wearing a bench shirt, and in the deadlift it means he's not wearing a deadlifting suit

  • Yeah when i explained my answer with raw meaning "knee wraps or not" that was because we had already established that no suit was being worn. A lot of people have different views on whether or not belts and wraps are raw. Doesnt really matter though. It is only 675. Not really worth debating.

  • All y'all faggots are wrong. Raw means butt naked. Sometimes i deadlift raw for reps and my nuts hit the ground. I use that as my trigger. Once my nuts hit, i fuckin explode up. I hit 315 x 6 yesterday. I was going for rep number 7, but part way through i grinded my cock with the bar. The pain caused me to explosively shit myself. It sucks cause that gym wont let me go back :(

  • So do you suggest that I put a pillow down for my nuts to hit on for my trigger if I pull naked? I have small nuts so I dont think they will touch without a pillow down. Can I also wear a diaper to pull since I dont want the same accident as you?

  • @angrylazermonkey i agree raw means naked(in terms of belts,or knee wraps/elbow sleeves...strpas are ok for training but not for max.)
