In the fan-translation of Mother, the main "bad guy" was the ultimate psychic being, from another world. She was related to the main character through adoption, and attempted to kill you. Her name, Giygue, was just a mistranslation for Giygas. What happened was that her power grew so strong, it corrupted her. She began constantly destroying and recreating herself, the only thing she felt now was pain, and all thought was obliterated.
Even if Giygas is supposed to be female, it doesn't mean the voice couldn't sound like this! I think your interpretation is pretty damn good!
