Both of our cars were totaled ($42k). We had to replace the roof and metal shed. The deck and fencing had to be power washed and re-stained. New siding and guttering on house. Garage door replaced. A few new windows on one side of the house. The landscaping was destroyed. There were baseball sized divots in the yard for more than 6 months. I think all in all we had about $65K in damage done to our property. Fortunately, we had great insurance on the home and the cars.

Here we get hail storms once every two years on average, the size of the beans in my beanbag. And when it rains it rarely rains heavily. And when it winds trees dont fall down. And thunderstorms are crap too.

I was home alone when this happened. I had just gotten home in my moms car, which was BMW X5 and then she left to go somewhere. 2 minutes later, I was screaming, in shelter and it was the most scary experience of my life! It was $45,000 worth of damage to my house. The car was safe THANK GOD. My baby grand piano was chipped and scratched, all the windows were gone, garage door, roof, trees, landscaping, etc. I DO NOT WANT TO RELIVE THIS EVER.
