I had two of them, they are dovii cichlids, really aggressive and i take them back to the pet store.
Needless to say that two of them are suitable in an aqaurium of at least 600 liters, some say even bigger.
But even in that case none guarantees that the one will not attack to the other.
Of course they are wonderful fishes since they eat all the time and are hardy however the are very agrressive hence difficult to be taken care by any aquarist.

he is territorial and aggressive because he wants to mate. Maybe a COMPATIBLE tankmate might help. or you could just keep tormenting him for your own amusement.

Why in the HELL did you even think of putting this poor fish back the tank without rinsing it!!?? It wont even hurt the fish if you do a quick rush towards the faucet just rinse this poor fish, then put it back in the tank. Your gonna end up adding lots potentially deadly bacteria in your Jaguar Cichlid tank. You can call this video funny but, the decision that you just made by putting this fish back in the tank without rinsing it is wrong.
The only reason the fish is so agressive is because theres no other fish in the tank which btw is too small for a jag, and there are no decorations in it which makes the fish extremely territorial. My jag shares a tank with a flowerhorn and for the mostpart theyre peaceful

he is territorial and aggressive because he wants to mate. Maybe a COMPATIBLE tankmate might help. or you could just keep tormenting him for your own amusement.

i have that same fish. mines is 13in long and maybe 5in wide. he only acts like this one when he's very hungry. but he fights fish just because.

Haha I got a good idea put a 50 gallon tank next to that one and put a bunch of little fishies in it that'll probably make the fish want to be in that tank so bad it will either jump to the next tank or break it's own glass and if it lives it'll go in the big tank.

Why in the HELL did you even think of putting this poor fish back the tank without rinsing it!!?? It wont even hurt the fish if you do a quick rush towards the faucet just rinse this poor fish, then put it back in the tank. Your gonna end up adding lots potentially deadly bacteria in your Jaguar Cichlid tank. You can call this video funny but, the decision that you just made by putting this fish back in the tank without rinsing it is wrong.

The only reason the fish is so agressive is because theres no other fish in the tank which btw is too small for a jag, and there are no decorations in it which makes the fish extremely territorial. My jag shares a tank with a flowerhorn and for the mostpart theyre peaceful
