I love the facts you always put in your videos. I was diagnosed with PCOS and am on Metformin. Its something good to hear these facts about fruit. I usually eat fruit with my Metformin, will definately be eating something with it. I love the cook book by the way!
the only time excessive amounts of fruit are a problem, is if your diet is high in fat...as long as you keep your fat under 10% of your diet , you can go wild with the fruit :)

@theone2225 different fruits have different amounts of sugar and fats. Bananas are usually not chosen by nutritional experts because it has saturated fat.

@Inspiration525 the Harvard healthy fruit pyramid recommends 1-2 servings of fruit a day, hope this helps ;o) But like Brenda says you don't have to eat fruit.
@crazyflower12 you can also multiply your weight by 10, and that should give you the amount of calories you should eat in order to loose weight. You should not do less than 1200, you don't want your body to go into starvation ;o)
I have a question since this video is addressing fruits. Will drinking a juice of carrots, apples and celery would be considered having too much sugar for a (between mean snack) ?
p.s.....look up Chana Serenity ( a raw vegan fitness model) and look up Freelea (who eats mostly fruit)...two women with bangin bodies that will prove fruit will not make you fat

I was reading about food combining and learned that it's best to eat fruit first thing in the morning at least 30 minutes away from other food. This is because fruit digests really fast and if eaten with other foods it basically will ferment and rot in your stomach. Can you do a bit more research and address this please? Thank you so much!
@leansecrets I have over 100 lbs to lose and I have already lost 64lbs since may by counting calories! The problem I'm having now is its stopping/slow & not consistent. I workout 5-6 days a week at least 400 hours of cardio a week.( change up my workouts every 2 weeks) I noticed my sugars in my day usually equals to 37-50 grams. Is this too much? Should I cut back to one piece of fruit a day or what? Thanks in advance
@DivineDiva321 Great job on the 64lb loss! That is MAJOR!!! To answer your question, If you'd like, I can make a video for you! Keep track of your meals, approximate portions (no need to count cals/fat grams etc.) & workouts for the next couple of days, and send it to me. I'll let you know in the video what changes you can make to improve your progress. Also send me your body weight, height, age, and any other important facts you think I should know.
Great video - I'd just add that although fruit is GREAT, fruit JUICE isn't necessarily so.
A 12oz glass of fruit juice has 4 to 5 times the fructose of a medium serving of fruit... So drinking 12oz of apple juice gives you the same sugar content as eating 4 or 5 apples at once! Nasty rise in both blood sugar and insulin.
Fruit was intended to be eaten =) I personally like my apples with a tablespoon or so of natural peanut butter (I make my own). Yummy.

@roserdgz Zumba, spin, treadmill, boxing..any and all cardio is good cardio! People always ask me "what is the best cardio", and in my opinion, the best cardio is the cardio you actually like to do/are consistent in. Plus Zumba is fun. The only thing I would suggest is, if you start hitting any plateaus, then take that as a cue to change things up a few times a week. But other than that, as long as you're sweating during your cardio, then you're good. Thanks so much for watching! Keep me posted
i love your tips!!! i eat fruits and vegetables all the time, i am working towards lose 10 lbs, which is so annoying since it was so easy to lose just 15 lbs..anyway, i was watching a show where the chef incorporated protein powder when making pancakes from scratch. would you recommend eating pancakes ever since they do have flour which is not good(right?)??
