I would do this on my SMN any time, anywhere. I don't think it's cheating, at all. This is a good way to level a job, especially if you don't have a lot of time grinding. I'd rather skill up to catch up, than to sit around and wait for a pt.
Sooner SE patches this crap the better, fuck sake people actually charge people 500k per run on my server for this. God knows who would pay that but yeah.... stupid.
@ElensarFFXI They aren't going to be patching it. They've went on record saying that this is a legitimate and acceptable use of the level sync system, and since it's been going on for a long time now, they aren't going to be adjusting it anytime soon.
i got invited to a summon burn earlier and had to turn it down x.x (to be the sync) cause i didnt wanna be a gimped pld...but omg it hurt turning down 60k exp
god i want to play ffxi again so bad, i love summoners, i don't have enough time to put into the lvling though, one way or another ill find a way to have a summoner again haha <3 this game

This is a nice trick, but it works VERY seldom. One tiny slip, and you have a very large graveyard.
I bet this works like 1 in 100 tries. Most never get to the point they can do it.
This trick has been know for years. The reason people don't do it, is because its damn hard to do.
not worth the time to patch, SE will simply let the 1 in 100 get a ton of exp, the other 99 will be making up lost exp somewhere else, after they give this trick up.
ure so wrong. the reson ppl never did it is because its quite difficult to get 6 smn of the (almost) same level. Now now that lv sync is out. Its very easy. No clue what you talking abut 1/100? i did it 3 times now. Only one the very first time we whiped due of bad timing. skill got 8k exp. Few days ago we went to dunes. Our level sync target guy instantly dinged from lv13 to 20..... what more should i say?

I calculated it out too, upbeatglitch. It's chain 147 (and then backtracks to 146, I blame lag) where the video ends. Average exp looks to be ~305 so... that comes out to 44,835 exp. Not including Wild Card ever being used on this, that's 22,417.5 exp per hour, that's even good at endgame level.
Then of course, factor in that not everything died and... just wow... incoming nerf. >_>
IF you know something about hate management you will understand. I will trade to explain:
Puller get mobs through linking ( dia 1 mob of each family and train ). Now you can get a Supertank aggro everyting by /kneel while in same PT as the puller, and puller can go back get other mobs. Once you have enough mobs, let a PT of SMN Level Sync, and AF on the mobs, they won't get hate on the mobs.
my friends tried this and the smn's seem to take hate can you help did you do something they didn't or they doing something wrong? be much appreciated to help us solve this problem thank you

pull needs to be able to take 0 damage, and /heal, since you are getting constant hate, they won't depop
