excellent tutorial...

Basically he selected 3 video tracks and created multitrack. Then he enabled multitrack editing. You can click on the screenshot to select which to view as the video is played.

create tracks, select them by [CTRL] & mouse left( click on track name area, not the area that can edit video clip.)
