Great song, great message, massive problem. We have no idea how many of our military families have children who share in their parents' PTSD as well. Children don't have to witness or be subjected to violence to develop a fear of things beyond their control...like parents not coming home...Thanks.
I wonder what the percentage is on how much of this type of violence is alcohol-fueled. Few substances influence people to bring the darkest horrors to their own family members. Alcohol is the only one that I know that unlocks the gates of hell (the id) and brings forth the worst possible expressions of human behavior.
I'd say, treat both the perpetrators and the victims with cannabis. Then transcend this world which is a self-perpetuating manifestation of hell.
