I really think that Hitler was the last of the Emperors , as we know them from history. It's kinda weard in the 20th century , bud it did happen. Large manifestations, invasions,occupied country's....he was born too late tho.....in earlier times he would have been just an historical caracter....anyone whit me on this matter?

@stefalbert I don't think I would agree on that point. As you've listed, the pieces are there, but there was no Empire in the classical sense.

agree, but time was to short. Imagine him winning the war , and started an Empire towards the East ( Russia) and the Far East....it could have been possible. But it didn't....12 years only..instead of a 1000....

@stefalbert I would say that it was highly unlikely. It's not like the countries Hitler occupied were aligned with his ideas. In the age of Nationalism Empires don't exist.
