How can I stream my hd pvr with sound but not hear the preview sound from arcsoft. Because I need to listen on skype and i have all the sound going to my trittons, but I dont want to hear the game audio twice( one though the game, and the other through my pc.) Its really confusing

@akaPhaKeD TO mute the preview sound from arcsoft, just click the volume icon on the Windows taskbar, click Mixer, and then mute Total Media Extreme. That's how you do it on Windows 7 at least.

@FreppyCTRL you need to download the extra's like titles etc... located within xsplit..... file > more sources. there should aload of extra like title etc.. that give you them :)

@AchievinggGoals Same problem here, but I found out why. Really stupid, but small problem. GO to justin.tv, look at your name, make sure that the first letter, if its capped, Cap it. Mine worked right after i put in Michalch98, but didnt work when i put in michalch98. Try that.

I've been using XSplit for a bit now to stream but I cannot get audio working from my HDPVR? I have a webcam set up and the audio from that works fine but whenever I un mute the speakers on XSplit it either echos or doesn't work. The sound comes out of my PC speakers but I have it turned down and my TV volume is muted so I can hear it through my X11 headphones which is connected to my Xbox. Please help!!? :(

@Hank62215 It's just a little tined purple right? Yeah just go into the Device settings in Total Media Extreme and adjust the contrast and brightness until it looks right. Sometime the preview window in TME can be weird.

@PurifiedClips No, You're probably not dropping any. I got confused at first too. At the top it should say something like, "Frames Encoded: 34832" and "Frames Dropped: 0". frames encoded and frames dropped are two different things.

@TrojanMan13612 You probably selected a server that's not currently available. this happens sometimes. In your Channel Settings in XSplit, instead of entering a nearby server, just select the Default Xsplit server.

I tried streaming Animal Crossing CF on the XSplit window just for a test, but the audio came out in a different way, it sounded lower and distorted. Is that just because of some setting I needed to change? Or does that not happen when you broadcast it onto the website?

@PandaSteeez Xsplit should automatically detect the system audio of Total Media Extreme. But if it doesn't seem to be doing so, then you can try installing stereo mix for your sound card. You can usually just search on google. Just search, stereo mix and the name of your sound card.

@PandaSteeez In the Xsplit settings, don't select Stereo Mix as the microphone. This may be causing the echo. If you're not using a microphone, then just click the little microphone icon to mute it. There will be two volume options on the main Xsplit page. The left one is the mic and the right is the system audio. make sure the system audio is turned all the way up and make sure your stereo mix is turned up in the Windows sound settings.

@ximstillgamingx To get audio from the game into XSplit, I think you'll need stereo mix.

@TheMDDebree Yeah you can add watermarks. You have to have a watermark image already made, and then you just have to add it to your XSplit project. To do this, click Add, choose Add Media File, and find your watermark image. Then just scale it to the size you want, and place it in the corner. If you want to make it transparent, just have your image highlighted in the list, and then click settings. You should be able to adjust the opacity there.

Nice video , but remember two things:

a) It should be easy to capture stream directly with XSplit Game source

b) If you must use Screen Capture and only have one screen then you can just set XSplit as layered window (tools -> seetings -> general) and then set screen source NOT to capture layered windows (Right click screen source) . This way you do not have to worry about moving XSplit on top of the video source.

@ahrimsmast3r If it doesn't quite take up the whole window in XSplit, you can go to the screen region settings. To do this, just click on the Screen Region layer in the list, and then click Settings. Then go to the Position tab, and uncheck Maintain Aspect Ratio.
