Oh please!..Sinatra a criminal?!...I'd rather see these politicians on trial...Sinatra knew mobsters...he had "friends" who were mobsters, but all night club people did in those days..but to parade this guy around was only a media stunt..I'm sure he had that "F'M attiude, I know I would...Sinatra is a artist of the highest class, maybe not the greatest human being, but a world class artist...just let the guy sing will ya!!
I was once threatened by two of Franks guys at a concert for having a camera. "Mr Sinatra doesnt allow his picture to be taken without his permission." One of my fondest memories.
when joe kennedy wanted his son to become president he sought out Sinatra and suddenly the mafia didnt matter anymore.
but once kennedy was elected and he appointed his brother AG then it was decided Franks friends were bad for business.
of course Sinatra not only knew and entertained Giancana but cal-neva was a getaway for many mobsters and their girlfriends including MM who was sleeping with john kennedy and partying with the mob too.
oh yeah, btw, the CalNeva is getting new machines put in as we speak so we'll all be able to go gamble there again. Also, it's becoming a music venue lately so that's cool. just thought i'd keep you all updated on Frank's old haunts (i live down the street)
Lying under oath isn't anything new. There was that Sinatra, and then there was the great entertainer Sinatra, the world's greatest interpreter of popular music. There were other facets of him, as well. A complex man.
