heres a twist in the ending i invented:
The farmer spends a eternity in the void where time doesnt exist and he doesnt age. soon he ponders and thinks everything there is to know and amasses so much knowledge he can create matter just by thinking it and alter the twist the universe. he imagines himself as god and changes the void into heaven, adds a few angels here and there, and then starts to build earth. a few millienia later a farmer is born, then centuries later a time machine is created.
