Soca music could still make. But I think it would take having Pan-Caribbean/US radio station networks. Also Soca music has a lot rhythmically with Reggaeton. It could link up with some big names in that industry to bridge the gap. The songs don't need to be totally in Spanish either, they could just have a partly Spanish chorus line similar to how many Chutney-Soca songs have part Hindi chorus lines.
