Gaddafi has been a tough nut to crack. The momentum was there to unseat Gaddafi but leaders fumbled and bumbled until the power shifted back to the dictator. Had there been swift action and backing of the freedom fighters when it would really have counted, then Gaddafi would have been gone by now. They failed to hit while the iron was hot and now the iron has pretty much cooled off. Politicians are fast to talk but slow to act when it really counts. They must first see which way the wind blows.
