They only bad thing about TekkamanBlade official uncut dvds is they didn't revitalize/bring back the life to the color like they did in the Teknoman dvd's.Also they didn't put subtitles for the songs played within the episodes of Miyuki's death and final battle of Blade vs.Evil

@TekkamanBlade4ever actually its teh opposite i HAVE BOTH Collections The Uncut collections Revitalized/Remaster the color and sound. The Teknoman Collection did NONE of this it looked like muddled and degrated VHS Transfer and sounded like it came from a damn Tin cup. The Uncut ocllections however have Clear vibrant colors & visual and crisp clean sound

Without the US dub you are only getting half of Tekkaman.

Overall the US episodes are better because:

- No homo-cross dresser in love with Blade.

- Faster/action intensive editing. IE, the JPNv has long boring scenes where you just hear a fridge hum while the chars sit/think.

- His name is Blade, not D-boy the dangerous boy who becomes "Tekkaman Blade".

- Mecha sounds instead of squishy organics.

- The chars use technical/Scifi terms where the JPNv they often just look/grunt at each other.

- No more silly dialogue where the chars just chant "Demon! Demon! Radam! Radam!"

- Godzilla-like/over-the-top orchestra music replaced with techno and guitar.

- Aki(Star) doesn't sound like/isn't a 12 year old ditz.

- A LOT MORE smart ass comments from Ringo.

- Completely uncut gore/nudity

Take everything that is wrong with the JPNv, multiply it x10, and you have Tekkman Blade 2.

Pervy cross-dressers and lame super heroes != cool. They should have learned from the US dub.

A slight error in the trailer: Masami Obari didn't direct the show, it was Hiroshi Negishi (Obari just did the openings).

I'm just curious, as the release for the second set is on Feb 27th, will that be pushed back. I will be importing this series because i love it. What sort of extra's can we be looking at? Besides the missing 3 specials, Twin Blood, Burning Clock and Missing Link? A special Casing for the dvds. Either way, you guys rock for getting this long forgetton and under appreciated classic and releasing both the Cut english version and the uncut japanese version.
