ive got a question we caught 2 big red drum on a old 12ft surf rod. we caught 2 and the fist one was 28 pounds and 3 ft long and the other was 30 pounds and 38" long so the big rod was still a hard fight, so why are you using such a small rod?
hey i am going down to the outer banks for mt first time. I was wondering what would be the best stuff to use i know we have metal leaders, we have 12lb and 15lb test, we have a few spinners and were thinking of using macarole and sand fleas, we have 2 surf rods and 2 spinning rods, is there anything else we need?? anyones advoce will be takin

@TheBowlingboy300 they use smaller rods for better action and get more fun out of fighting the fish
