i think he said "call" because he had not enough chips, so he put out a 20k chip or so, and announced cal, otherwise the dealer would understand that galfond is raising.

@OvidEx44 I guarantee you Galfond is balancing his live tells range esp when playing PA he will be super cognizant not to give off such tells.. in fact they may have history and that in the past has been weakness, which would make PA fire a third barrel.

When a player emphasizes he just calls, like Galfond does at 2:43, it's almost always a very strong hand

I agree with you VicenzoV, now that I recall the times I've played live people who tank and then announce it they are usually strong. Their body language and tone also a lot more ecstatic.
